WICHITA, Kan. –&nbsp;Wichita State clinched a first-round bye and played spoiler in the American Athletic Conference race with a 79-57 victory over Tulsa on Sunday afternoon at a sold-out Charles Koch Arena.

<a href="https://goshockers.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=4217">Erik Stevenson</a>&nbsp;scored a team-high 18 points with nine rebounds for the Shockers (23-8, 11-7 American, who finished the regular season in sole possession of fourth-place, helped by Memphis' loss at Houston earlier in the day.

WSU's lone senior,&nbsp;<a href="https://goshockers.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=4213">Jaime Echenique</a>, also performed well in his home finale, ending with 13 points, seven rebounds, two blocks and career-high four steals.&nbsp;<a href="https://goshockers.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=4209">Jamarius Burton</a>&nbsp;added 14 points and a team-high five assists.

Wichita State will open AAC tournament play at 2 p.m. CT on Friday on ESPN2 against the winner of a first-round matchup between No. 5 seed UConn and No. 12 Tulane.

Martins Igbanu scored a game-high 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting for Tulsa (21-10, 13-5, which missed out on a chance to claim the conference title outright. The Hurricane instead fall all the way to the No. 3 seed line after finishing in a three-way tie for first-place with Cincinnati (No. 1 seed) and Houston (No. 2 seed).

The Shockers managed just 51 points on 6-of-31 three-point shooting in their Feb. 1 loss at Tulsa but hit 11-of-28 threes on their way to 79 points in Sunday's rematch. WSU shot 47.4 percent as a team

Wichita State scored the first nine points of the game and led by as many as 13 near the 8:00-mark of the first half.

Igbanu hit back-to-back threes to ignite Tulsa, which clawed back to within 29-26 on Jackson's putback with 1:25 to play in the period.

The Shockers regained momentum over the last 90 seconds. Stevenson drained a long jumper through contract and WSU added three more free throws for a more comfortable 34-26 halftime cushion.

Stevenson took over during a stretch early in the second half, scoring nine-straight points. He twice converted three-point plays on tough transition baskets, then drilled a three to make it 46-29 with 17:04 to play.

Back-to-back baskets from&nbsp;<a href="https://goshockers.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=4218">Morris Udeze</a>&nbsp;pushed the lead to 22 and prompted a Tulsa timeout with 11:00 to play.

After the break, Tulsa focused on pounding the ball inside to Igbanu, who scored three layups during a 12-0 Hurricane run. Horne also hit two threes during that stretch, the second of which pulled Tulsa to within 10, 59-49, with 7:56 remaining.

Marshall called a timeout for WSU, which worked to a similar effect. Burton scored the next six points to key an 11-0 Shocker run. After a Wade triple, the lead was right back up to 21 with less than 5:00 to go.

Wichita State cruises past Tulsa

TOPEKA, Kan. - The Hays High Indians are the No. 3 seed and will open against No. 6 seed Topeka-Highland Park Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. in the 5A State Basketball Tournament at White Auditorium in Emporia.

The Indians, who are making their 20th state tournament appearance, are one of three teams with a 16-6 record but grabbed the higher seed by virtue of allowing fewer points during the season.

Andover (22-0) grabbed the top seed and opens with Overland Park-Blue Valley Southwest (9-13) at 3 p.m. Wednesday. No. 4 seed DeSoto (16-6) takes on Kapuan Mt. Carmel (16-6) in the second game at 4:45 p.m.

Basehor-Linwood (20-2) is the No. 2 seed and plays No. 7 Andover Central (14-8) at 6 p.m. followed by the Indians and Scots.

The winners of Wednesday's quarterfinal games will play in the semifinals Friday at 4:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. The two semifinal non-winning teams play for third place at 2 p.m. on Saturday with two winning teams playing for the 5A state title at 6:15 p.m.

Indians grab the No. 3 seed at 5A State Tournament

NEW ORLEANS - Fort Hays State sophomore pole vaulter <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5477">Ryan Stanley</a>
 earned USTFCCCA All-Central Region honors for his performance during 
the indoor season, announced last week by the coaches 
association. It is the second time Stanley has been named an All-Region 
performer after he also picked up the award during the 2019 outdoor 
campaign.


Stanley's top mark of 16-10.25 came at the Wendy's/Pittsburg State 
Invitational earlier this season, just one-half inch off the program 
record of 16-10.75. That mark places him ninth on the national 
performance chart.


He easily cleared the NCAA Division II provisional mark in all eight of 
his competitive events this season, earning two top finishes and five 
top-three placements.

FHSU's pole vaulter earns second All-Region honor

BELOIT – The TMP Monarchs and the Beloit Trojans matched up in
the 3A Beloit sub-state championship game Saturday in a battle of two teams
that placed at the 3A state tournament last year and Beloit would come away with
the victory, 65-43.

The two teams traded the lead early in the first quarter
before Beloit built a 12-9 lead. TMP’s Carson Jacobs would pull down a rebound
and follow it up with a layup to cut the Beloit lead to 12-11 at the end of the
first quarter.

In the second quarter TMP took a one-point lead on a Jackson
Schulte steal and layup to open the second quarter. But the lead was short-lived
as Beloit scored the next six points to lead 18-13. The Monarchs did close the
gap to one at 21-20 on a Lucas Lang three pointer but Beloit took a 30-25 lead
into the break.

Out of the halftime break Beloit outscored TMP 16-5 to build
a double-digit lead at 46-30. They led 46-32 after three and extended the lead
on their way to the 65-43 win.

Carson Jacobs led TMP with 20 points and 10 rebounds. It’s
his fourth 20 point performance in the last five games and his second straight
double-double.

Beloit’s Bryce Mason finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds.
Vincent Palen added 17.

Beloit improves to 20-3 and it headed to the 3A state
tournament in Hutchinson next week.

3-7-20 Saturday Edition of Friday's Finals

ELLIS- After another whirlwind season of high school basketball, 4 teams found themselves on the cusp of the 2A state tournament in Manhattan.&nbsp; It was time for sub-state championship basketball from beautiful Ellis, Kansas.&nbsp;

The Trego Golden Eagles came into the championship game with only one loss on the season, good enough for the number 1 seed. They finished 4th in the state last year and were looking for a return trip to Manhattan this year. They won the MCL tournament and regular season championship.

The Oakley Lady Plainsmen were one of the bigger surprises in 2A, finishing the regular season 15-5. That was good for the 2 seed in the Ellis Sub-State.&nbsp;

The first quarter was a back-and-forth affair. Trego led by as much as 7, but the lead was trimmed to 15-11 by quarters end.

The second quarter was a defensive affair. The Golden Eagles only scored 8 points, but they held the Lady Plainsmen to only one bucket, allowing them to push the lead to 23-13 heading into the break.

The Golden Eagles came out hot, scoring the first 10 points of the quarter. That was an omen of what was to come, as Trego scored 27 third quarter points en-route to a 50-23 lead heading into the final frame.&nbsp;

The final quarter went by quickly, as Trego pushed the lead to 30, triggering the running clock rule. Trego punched their ticket to state with a 57-28 win.

Junior Lilli Shubert had 22 points and 10 boards for an impressive double-double. Senior Libby Frost fished with 16, junior Emma Day had 10.

Jordan Lowrie had 18 points and 4 rebounds for Oakely. The Lady Plainsmen finished the season 18-5.

Trego advances to the state tournament in Manhattan for the second year in a row. They finished 4th last year. Their 22-1 record should mean a high seeding for the tournament.&nbsp;

Plainville surprised the Indians, coming out with vinegar and fire, en-route to a 19-15 first quarter lead.

Hoxie opened the quarter on a 16-2 run to turn a 4 point deficit into a 10 point lead. They'd further push the lead to 40-27 by the end of the half.&nbsp;

Plainville took it to Hoxie in the third quarter, trimming the lead to as little as 4. Hoxie led&nbsp; 53-48 heading into the final act.

The fourth quarter started competitive, but a 6 point possession due to a technical foul allowed Hoxie to turn a 7 point lead into a 13 point lead. The Indians would hold on from there for an 81-66 victory.

Harlan Obioha led 4 Hoxie scorers in double digits with 27 points. He also had 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. Freshman Brady Jones chipped in 14 points.

Senior Jared Casey finished his impressive high school career with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Sophomore Anders Dewey had 13 points and 6 assists.

Plainville finishes the year with a record of 14-9.

Hoxie moves to 21-2. They will head to Manhattan for the state tournament, which begins next week.

Ellis Sub-State Championship

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Fort Hays State women’s basketball
team couldn’t overcome a slow start at the beginning of the game and at the beginning
of the third quarter and lost 59-48 to No. 15 Central Missouri in Saturday’s MIAA
Tournament semifinal at Municipal Auditorium.

The Jennies (26-4) opened with an 11-2 run over the
first five and-a-half minutes of the game. The Tigers (23-7) scored the next seven to pull within
two but would never get the lead. UCM scored the final five points for a 16-9
lead at the quarter break.

The Tigers held the Jennies to five points in the second
quarter but could only score eight themselves and trailed 21-17 at the half.

UCM took control with a 12-2 run to open the third quarter
and led by as many as 16 before a 7-0 run by the Tigers brought them back
within nine early in the fourth. 

The Tigers got as close as six after a Jaden Hobbs three with
a little over a minute to play. They then nearly forced a turnover near mid-court but
the Jennies were awarded a timeout on a loose ball then got a three-pointer
from conference Player of the Year Megan Skaggs late in the shot clock with 31
seconds to play to push the lead to nine and seal the win.

The Tigers shot only 32-percent including 5-of-23 from beyond
the arc and 7-of-13 from the free throw line. They did force Central Missouri
into 20 turnovers but scored only eight points off turnovers for the game.

Jaden Hobbs was the only Tiger to reach double-figures with
14 points. Belle Barbieri scored eight while grabbing a game-high 12 rebounds.

UCM, who is No. 1 in this week's NCAA II Central Region rankings, was led by Morgan Flemming's 20 points. Nija Collier added 15.

The Tigers, who were ranked sixth in this week’s NCAA II
Central Regional rankings, will find out Sunday night if they are selected for
next week’s NCAA II Tournament.

Tiger women fall to Jennies in MIAA Tournament semifinals

Hays High used an 18-0 run through the second and third quarter to punch their ticket to the 5A State Basketball Tournament with a 43-36 win in Great Bend Friday night.&nbsp; 

The teams traded baskets for the first six minutes leaving Great Bend with a lead of 8-6.&nbsp; Hays scored the last six points of the first quarter to lead 12-8 before falling behind 14-12 on back to back Panther threes with 5:10 left in the second quarter.&nbsp; The Indians would not yield another point for eleven minutes.&nbsp; During that span Hays scored the final six points of the second quarter and first twelve of the third for a 30-14 lead.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Great Bend broke the drought from the free throw line and didn't score their first field goal until 35 second showed on the third quarter clock.&nbsp; The Indians took a 32-19 lead to the fourth quarter and never led by less than nine until the final fifteen seconds.&nbsp;

Hays improves to 16-6 on the year and were led by the 13 points of Carson Kieffer.&nbsp; #6 Great Bend has their twelve game winning streak snapped and end the year at 17-5.

Hays will make their 20th appearance in the state tournament.&nbsp; The 5A tournament is held in Emporia.&nbsp; The quarterfinals for the boys side of the bracket begins on Wednesday.

Hays punches ticket to state with win over Great Bend

BELOIT – The TMP Lady Monarchs saw their season come to an
end Friday with a 40-32 loss to the Phillipsburg Panthers in the sub-state
semifinals in Beloit.

TMP’s Meghan Hamel scored six first-quarter points on a pair
of three pointers and Phillipsburg’s Taryn Sides to added eight points in the
quarter giving Phillipsburg an 8-6 lead. Emilee Lane added a pair of free throws
to tie the game at eight through one quarter.

Phillipsburg outscored TMP 9-2 to start the second quarter
and build a 17-10 lead. Sophia Balthazor answered with a three-pointer to trim
the deficit to four. Phillipsburg led by five at 22-17 at the break.

In the third quarter Phillipsburg extended their largest lead
of the game to nine only to see TMP put together a 10-0 run to end the third
quarter and begin the fourth quarter capped off by back-to-back Emilee Lane
field goals that put TMP up 32-30.

But TMP’s lead was short-lived as the Panthers outscored TMP
10-0 over the final 3:30 of the fourth quarter on their way to a 40-32 win.

TMP’s Emilee Lane finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Phillipsburg improved to 19-3 and they will take on Norton
who upset Beloit Friday 49-47.

TMP girls end season with sub-state loss to Phillipsburg

ELLIS-The second night of 2A sub-state finals at Ellis started with the 4 seed Hill City Ringnecks taking on the the number 1 seed Hoxie Indians. Hoxie had won the only regular season meeting between the two&nbsp; 52-33.

The Indians inside game was dominant early as they led 15-9 after one quarter. Harlan Obioha had 8 of the teams 15 points.

The Ringknecks fought valiantly in the second quarter. They used a 6-0 run and a timely 3 by Dalen Journigan to tie things 20-20 with 2 minutes left in the half. That is how score would stay heading into the break.

Hoxie struck first blood in the second half. They used a 10-2 run to take and 8 point lead. However, Hill City trimmed the lead to 4. A 7-0 run by Hoxie extended the lead to 43-32 heading into the final act.

The Indians used a 3-point barrage and timely free throws to close out the Ringnecks 64-48.

Junior Harlan Obioha finished with an impressive stat line of 23 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 assists. Senior Parker Jones added 11 points and 6 rebounds.

Sophomore Derek Kieth led the way for Hill City with 12 points. Dalen Journigan and Kyle Richmier both had 9 points.

Hill City finishes the season 13-9.&nbsp; They say goodbye to 3 fantastic seniors.&nbsp;

Hoxie is on to tomorrow's championship game with a trip to Manhattan on the line. The are 20-2&nbsp; on the season.

The second game of the evening featured the 3 seed Plainville Cardinals and the 2 seed Ellis Railers.

Plainville jumped out to a 13-6 lead, taking the home fans by surprise. However, Ellis went on a 10-2 to run to take a 16-15 heading into quarter number two.

It was a back-and-forth affair in quarter number two. Plainville led by as much as 5, but Ellis would not be denied, tying the game at 26 by the half. Ellis junior Brady Frickey had 17 of his teams 26 points at the half.&nbsp;

Plainville came out of the half on fire scoring the first 7 points. They would maintain that lead to the tune of 46-39 heading into the final quarter.

Plainville held the lead for all of the fourth quarter. Ellis made several pushes, but in the end the Cardinals were just too much, holding on for a 66-52 victory.

Senior Jared Casey flirted with a triple-double with 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. Anders Dewey added 13 points for the Cardinals.

Brady Frickey went off for Ellis, scoring 25 points. Junior Daniel Eck chipped in 14 points and 6 boards.

Ellis finishes the season 15-6. It is also the end of Senior Zachary Eck's illustrious career.&nbsp;

Plainville will face off against Hoxie tomorrow for the sub-state championship and the right to go to state in Manhattan.&nbsp;

three in the right corner in front of the Tigers bench to tie the game at
38-38. She hit her second three a little over three minutes later to give the
Tigers the lead for good at 46-43 and sparked a 28-10 run over the next nine
minutes which put the game away.

Kacey Kennett made four of the Tigers eight 3-pointers and
scored 19 points along with eight rebounds. Whitney Randall added 16 points and
Belle Barbieri 14 along with nine boards and four assists. Jaden Hobbs played
all 40 minutes and scored seven while dishing out six assists.

Pitt State was led by sophomore guard Kaylee DaMitz who
scored 20.

The Tigers advance to Saturday’s semifinals where they play
top-seed Central Missouri at noon. The Jennies beat Washburn 65-61 Thursday to
advance. UCM is ranked No. 1 in this week’s Central Region poll. The game is a
rematch of last year’s title game won by the Tigers.

 play this weekend (March 6-8) when the Tigers host No. 15 Central 
Oklahoma for a three-game set. The teams open the weekend at 3 p.m. 
Friday before 1 p.m. starts on both Saturday and Sunday.


The Tigers (11-8, 1-2 MIAA) opened league play with a road win last 
Friday at Pittsburg State before dropping the final two games of the 
series. The Bronchos (13-3, 2-1 MIAA) had the opposite experience on the
 opening weekend of conference action, falling to Newman 11-0 in the 
opener before bouncing back to win the next two contests.


Fort Hays State 16-19 all-time against the Bronchos&nbsp;dating back to 1984.
 The teams have split the 10 games played in Larks Park, 5-5. Central 
Oklahoma has won each of the last six meetings, with the last Tiger win 
coming on March 5, 2017 in Edmond (8-7).


It is the second time this season the Tigers have played a ranked 
opponent after taking one of four against No. 23 Colorado School of 
Mines.

Tiger baseball back home to battle Central Oklahoma

Fort Hays State Softball will host a pair of MIAA doubleheaders this 
weekend in Hays, taking on Central Missouri Friday at 2 pm before facing
 Lincoln on Saturday at 12 pm. The pair of doubleheaders will be the 
first four games of conference play this season for FHSU. The Tigers 
enter the weekend with a record of 13-9, while Central Missouri is 7-4 
and Lincoln is 6-6.


Fort Hays State played both Central Missouri and Lincoln on the road 
last season. The Tigers swept a pair of games from Lincoln in Jefferson 
City, but fell in both contests against Central Missouri in Warrensburg.


The Tigers have been stuck in a trend of .500 play over the past two 
weeks. FHSU went 2-2 in its second trip to the Edmond/Oklahoma City area

earned MIAA Softball Pitcher of the Week. Nelson leads the pitching 
staff with a 1.71 ERA and 78 strikeouts in 69.2 innings pitched. She 
currently ranks second in the MIAA in ERA and opponent batting average, 
while ranking third in strikeouts. Teammate <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5344">Hailey Chapman</a> is also among the top strikeout pitchers in the MIAA, ranking fifth with 61.

At the plate, <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5358">Kristen Reed</a> leads FHSU in RBIs (22, extra-base hits (8, and slugging percentage (.485, while <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5342">Terran Caldwell</a> leads in batting average (.368) and runs scored (13). At least three Tigers have three stolen bases on the year, led by <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5352">Hannah Gates</a> with five. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5351">Alexis Velazquez</a> and <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5343">Elise Capra</a>
 have each hit three home runs on the year. Velazquez is the only Tiger 
other than Reed with at least 10 RBIs this year, going into the weekend 
with 15.

 </figure>FHSU AthleticsFort Hays State Softball will host a pair of MIAA doubleheaders this 
weekend in Hays, taking on Central Missouri Friday at 2 pm before facing
 Lincoln on Saturday at 12 pm. The pair of doubleheaders will be the 
first four games of conference play this season for FHSU. The Tigers 
enter the weekend with a record of 13-9, while Central Missouri is 7-4 
and Lincoln is 6-6.
Fort Hays State played both Central Missouri and Lincoln on the road 
last season. The Tigers swept a pair of games from Lincoln in Jefferson 
City, but fell in both contests against Central Missouri in Warrensburg.
The Tigers have been stuck in a trend of .500 play over the past two 
weeks. FHSU went 2-2 in its second trip to the Edmond/Oklahoma City area
 before going 3-3 last week in Topeka. FHSU played just one doubleheader

Tiger women open MIAA Tournament play Friday against Pitt State

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Precious Achiuwa tallied 14 points and 16 rebounds to lift Memphis to a 68-60 win over Wichita State. 

Tyler Harris added 19 points for Memphis. Lester Quinones had 12 points and seven rebounds. 

Dexter Dennis scored 15 points to lead Wichita State. &nbsp;Jamarius Burton and Jaime Echenique added 13 points apiece.

BELOIT – Lucas Lang’s three-point buzzer beater as time expired
lifted the TMP-Marian Monarch boys to a 69-67 win over Hoisington Thursday in
Beloit to advance to the sub-state championship game on Saturday. 

The first quarter of Thursday’s sub-state semifinals matchup
was a back-and-forth affair that saw four ties and eight lead changes before Hoisington
score the final four points of the quarter and led 15-13.

After three more lead changes to open the second quarter
Hoisington put together a little 5-0 run to lead 22-19 but TMP answered right
back with a 10-0 run. Ryan Stoecklein hit a pair of three pointers and Carson Jacobs
added a pair of field goals as they Monarchs built a 29-22 lead.

Ryan Stoecklein knocked down four three pointers in the first half and scored 14 of his 15 points in the first half.

The Monarchs lead by seven several times in the third
quarter and led by six at halftime at 34-28.

In the third quarter TMP lea by as many as 12 as Carson
Jacobs scored eight of his game-high 24 points in the quarter to put TMP up
55-43 at the end of the third quarter.

Hoisington opened the fourth quarter on a 9-3 run to cut the
TMP lead to six at 58-52.

The Cardinals started sending TMP to the line and while the
Monarchs struggled at the line Hoisington closed the gap to two and then with
8.7 second left Bralen Thompson drained a three from the top of the key to give
the Cardinals the 67-66 lead.

Following at TMP timeout the Monarchs inbounded the ball to
Jackson Schulte who raced passed his defender and into the front court and the
lane. When the defense collapsed on Schulte, he kicked it to the right corner for
Lucas Lang who drained a three-pointer to beat the buzzer as TMP earned the
69-67 win.

TMP’s Carson Jacobs scored a team-high 24 points and pulled
down 10 rebounds. 

Hoisington’s Mason Haxton scored a game-high 27 points and
Drew Nicholson added 20.

TMP improves to 18-4 and will take on the top-seed Beloit
Trojans Saturday in the sub-state championship game after they knocked off
Norton 67-64.

ELLIS- It was girls action that took center stage on the Thursday edition of the Ellis 2A Sub-State. The evening began with the Trego Golden Eagles, the top seed and one of the best teams in the state, taking on the the 5-seed Republic County Buffaloes.&nbsp;

Things were tight through the first quarter and the score reflected that hard play, with the Golden Eagles leading by a single bucket at the end of the first, 11-9.

Trego was able to wear down the Buffaloes, en-route to a 27-17 lead. Senior Libby Frost scored 7 of her 9 first half points in the second quarter.&nbsp;

The third quarter saw a wide point swing. The Golden Eagles built a 14 point lead, only to see it reduced to 8. Trego had built the lead back to 39-28 heading into the final frame.

The Buffaloes slowly crawled back into the game throughout the third quarter. With just a kiss over 2 minutes left, the Buffaloes trailed by only 5. However, a missed 3-pointer and a turnover cost the Buffaloes dearly, and the Golden Eagles fought off an upset bid for a 46-39 win.

Libby Frost finished with 17 points an 5 rebounds for the Golden Eagles. Senior Alexis Hansen finished her Buffalo career with a bang, pouring in 21 points and snagging 5 boards.

The Buffaloes finish their season with a record of 12-11. They'll also say good-bye to 9 quality senior players.

Trego is on to the championship game Saturday, where they'll try to reach state for a second straight year. The Golden Eagles are currently 21-1 on the year.&nbsp;

The second game of the evening featured the Ellis Railers and the Oakley Lady Plainsmen. Ellis had reached the semifinals as a 6 seed after an upset of the 3 seed Hoxie Indians.

The Ellis Railers jumped out to an early lead 8-3. However, the next 6 points belonged to Oakley, helping them to build a 9-8 lead after a quarter.&nbsp;

Oakley used a 10-1 second quarter run to extend the lead to 19-9. However, the Railers were able to salvage the last 3 points of the half to make it 19-12 at the half. Jordyn Lowrie, Oakely's star forward, exited the game halfway through the second quarter with what seemed to be a jaw injury. She wouldn't return in the first half, but started the second half.

The third quarter was essentially a wash. Ellis trimmed the lead to as little as 4, but a big and-1 by Liberty Booker pushed the lead back to 7 before the end of the quarter. Oakley led 29-22 heading into the final quarter.&nbsp;

The Railers put up a good fight in the final frame, but could never close the gap, as they fell 45-32.&nbsp;

Jordyn Lowrie finished with 13 points and 6 boards despite sitting a good portion of the game with injury and foul trouble. Liberty Booker chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds.

Grace Eck had 12 points for Ellis, Rylee Werth had 11. The Railers finish the year at 10-11.&nbsp;

Oakley moves to 17-5, they will play Trego Saturday for the sub-state championship and the right to advance to state in Manhattan.
