Twisted is the story of the infamous villain from Aladdin, which provides his backstory and treats him as the protagonist. It includes appearances from most of the well-known Disney villains and gives Aladdin and the princess a shallow and even empty treatment allowing the villain to be the hero.
The students are directing, choreographing, and leading this fully staged musical in its musical and technical elements. All proceeds for the musical go to the Hays High School Chamber Singers' summer of 2021 trip.
This production is rated PG-13 due to language, innuendo, and thematic material. It's best suited for people high school aged and older.
