Eagle Radio auction is underway!

The Hays City Commission voted on Thursday to fund a new police station and redevelopment of a Cerv's location. Hays and Russell are also suing Edwards County over the R9 project.

Hays City Manager Toby Dougherty said the lawsuit was filed against the Edwards County Commission, the Edwards County Planning Commission and several other parties due to illegal zoning practices.

Dougherty said that Edwards County's zoning regulations are an attempt to block the project southwest of Kinsley.

Hays City Commissioner Reese Barrick said Edwards County's efforts to restrict the R9 project are unjustified and do not negatively impact the area's agricultural production, public health or property values.

"This is a really malicious, spiteful act that's not legal. I'm glad we're taking steps to do something about it," Barrick said.

According to the lawsuit, in 1994, the former owners of the R9 Ranch signed an agreement to sell the ranch and its water rights to the city of Hays.

The city has proposed designing a new police station and municipal court facility, estimated to cost $8.9 million.

The city approved plans to issue $1.39 million of the project cost through temporary notes.

The city will renovate the former Astra Bank building, 1100 Fort St., in downtown Hays.

Cervs and the Russell J. Pfannenstiel Trust, the developer, submitted an application to replace the Vine Street Phillip's 66 store and gas station, 3701 W. 41st St., Hays, with a new facility.

The developer has requested a 1.5% community investment District (CID) sales tax to help fund the $4.7 million project. The tax will only apply within the district and not the entire city.

The developer plans to replace the existing store with a new convenience store and gas station, enhancing the gas station's layout and providing increased amenities.

In the proposed redevelopment, the facility will be built on the north side of the lot, with its entrance facing south. The existing building faces east. The gas pumps will be relocated to the south side of the lot.

The developer estimates the CID sales tax will generate $895,000 during the district's maximum term of 22 years.

City commissioner Shaun Musil said the Cerv's convenience stores in Hays are some of the cleanest businesses in town, and he looks forward to the new facility.

"This business is the doorstep of our community. I think it's going to add to the look and bring in more businesses," he said.

The 1.5% CID was approved and construction will begin in December.

The city will issue general obligation bonds to provide Heart of American Development Corporation with a $2,565,000 grant for the&nbsp;<a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/bc26d31c-170f-4982-8534-088157e96e50">Tallgrass 2nd Addition</a>&nbsp;Reinvestment Housing Incentive District (RHID) project.

Nine bids for these bonds were received, with Country Club Bank offering the best bid.

The city also issued temporary notes to upgrade its public water system, with the best bid coming from Piper Sandler &amp; Co.

Hays, Russell sue Edwards County over R9 project

This week, the Ellis County Commission appointed five
community members to the newly formed Ellis County Library Board.

<a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/41ba1a64-b3bb-41d6-912f-9accb9dab047">After voters overwhelmingly approved the creation of the county
library in the August primary election, the commission began accepting
applications from residents to serve on the board.</a>

To be eligible to serve on the board, individuals have to
live in the new taxing district, which covers rural Ellis County and Victoria
but not Hays or Ellis.



According to County Administrator Darin Myers, the county received
12 applications.

The commissioners then ranked the 12 applicants and listed
the top five individuals.

Teget and Rogowski were the top two voters getters and were appointed
to the longest terms through April 30, 2028.

Honas’ term will run through April 30, 2027. Dome’s term
expires April 30, 2026, and Hammerschmidt’s April 2025.

Each term on the board&nbsp;is four years after the initial
shorter terms, and according to County Counselor Bill Jeter, the statute says a
person can only serve two four-year terms before they have to wait a year before
returning to the board.

“Anybody that has less than a four-year appointment once
that expires could run for two more or be appointed for two more consecutive
four years,” Jeter said. 

The Ellis County Commission chairperson will serve as a member of the board.

County Commissioner Michael Berges said he appreciated
everyone who applied for the positions.

"The nice thing about the applications is how much many of
those people do on other boards," Berges said. "So, seeing the community
involvement (is) certainly something I took into consideration on all the
applications."

The board will create its by-laws and regulations.

“They make their own separate decisions on what course they
want to see this library go, based on the funding the commission provides,” Jeter
said. “You don’t have the right to approve or disprove what they do or what
direction they want to go.”

Commissioner Neal Younger said he likes&nbsp;the fact&nbsp;that
the five people come from all over the county.

“I believe all three commissioners chose these people
(because) there’s some backgrounding (with) a lot of those individuals,” Commissioner
Neal Younger said. “So, I think they’ll do fine without any guidance from us.”

Property taxes currently collected from residents living in those areas for library services fund the Central Kansas Library System (CKLS).

According to the CKLS, Ellis County collected more than $292,000 in taxes in 2023. The funding was then distributed to member libraries across the 17-county area that the CKLS serves.

The funding the Hays and Ellis public libraries and the three public school libraries receive from the CKLS has continued to decline in recent years, and according to County Administrator Darin Myers, by 2027, less than 25% of the taxes paid from Ellis County will be returned to Ellis County.

The library taxes collected in the newly formed taxing
district will support the county library. 

The State Library Board can still block the implementation
of the&nbsp;county library if they believe it will do “manifest harm” to the
Central Kansas Library. Still, Myers said an updated set of regulations had
been sent to the attorney general’s office that would trim the waiting
period&nbsp;from the current two years.

The Ellis County Farm Bureau hosted a successful Kids Ag Day on the Farm at Pa’s Pumpkin Patch. Over 350 Ellis County 4th grade students attended the day-long event, which featured a variety of agricultural related activities and presentations. 

Dairy Presentation, where students learned about the dairy industry and met a Jersey dairy cow named 'Tempe,' presented by Kerri Hamilton with Southwest Dairy. 

ATV Safety presented by KSU Extension provided valuable safety tips and demonstrations for ATV riders. 

“Wow That Cow” Calving Education by Dr. AJ Tarpoff from KSU led an informative presentation on the calving process.

The event was a collaborative effort, with the Hays FFA Chapter, Victoria FFA Chapter, and TMP FFA Chapter serving as group leaders and presenting to students. 

Their dedication and enthusiasm were instrumental in making Kids Ag Day a memorable experience for all involved.

"We are thrilled with the success of Kids Ag Day," said Steph Eckroat, County Service Coordinator at Ellis County Farm Bureau. "It was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about agriculture and the importance of our local farmers and ranchers." 

The Ellis County Farm Bureau Board would like to thank all of the volunteers, presenters, and sponsors who made Kids Ag Day possible. We look forward to continuing to provide educational opportunities for students in our community.

Kids Ag Day 'a huge success' at Pa's Pumpkin Patch

Corn stunt spiroplasma and its associated vector (corn leafhopper, Dalbulus maidis) have been recently confirmed in Kansas. Corn stunt spiroplasma has been confirmed in 26 counties. Recent scouting efforts across Kansas confirm active leaf hoppers in many additional counties. Although the majority of the positive reports are from field corn, K-State Plant Pathologist Rodrigo Onofre says we also confirmed corn stunt spiroplasma in sweet corn as well. High levels of disease were found in late-planted and double-cropped corn, leading to potential yield reduction, says Onofre. Symptoms of the disease may include shortened internodes, which can result in a stunted stature of the corn plant as well as leaves with red discoloration. Because other biotic and abiotic factors can cause red or purple discoloration in corn, laboratory testing is important to diagnose corn stunt disease and distinguish it from other stressors.

In the past, corn stunt disease has been limited in distribution to southern Texas, Florida, and California. Corn stunt is caused by a wall-less bacterial pathogen called corn stunt spiroplasma. The corn leafhopper can also transmit additional pathogens, either singly or in combination with the corn stunt spiroplasma. To date, only corn stunt spiroplasma has been detected in Kansas, says Onofre. Additional research is needed to determine the presence of other pathogens vectored by corn leafhopper in Kansas.

This disease is spread only by the corn leafhopper, which was also just confirmed in Kansas. Corn leafhopper acquires pathogens within minutes of feeding on infected corn plants but it can take up to 30 days for the leafhopper to be able to infect healthy corn plants during feeding events. The corn leafhopper is relatively simple to identify under magnification. These leafhoppers are light tan to yellowish-white in color and approximately 1/8” long. Two distinct dark spots between the antennae and eyes are very characteristic of this species. Nymphs lack wings and can vary in color. Like most leafhoppers, all stages move quickly when disturbed and hide in shaded areas of corn plants. Disease testing – Help us track the disease

If you suspect a field has corn stunt, submit a sample to the K-State Plant Disease Diagnostic Lab. The best type of sample for corn stunt testing is living symptomatic leaf tissue. Dry/senesced corn leaves are not recommended and may lead to inconclusive results. Entire

plants are not required to test for this disease, only symptomatic leaves, as only the midrib will be used in testing.

Collection and shipping instructions can be found below:

· Collect and ship samples on or before Wednesday to avoid weekend storage

· Collect symptomatic living leaves (ideally from multiple symptomatic plants)

· Label and use plastic bags; Do not use paper bags, and do not add water. · Fill out submission form, search on-line for KSU Plant Pathology lab. Include variety/hybrid info

· Ship leaves ASAP overnight via UPS or FedEx when possible. USPS can take up to 14 days · Send photos to clinic@ksu.edu with the tracking number or date shipped

Enhance your oil painting skills in this two-day workshop with experienced artist Laurie Albin. The 2024 Annual Fall Cleanup will consist of one and only one sweep through the City beginning October 21st. No set schedule has been established; however, residential curbside services will be first with residential regular alley services following.&nbsp;If you put your trash on the Curb, put your Fall Cleanup items on the Curb. &nbsp; If you put your trash in the Alley, put your Fall Cleanup&nbsp;items in the Alley. The city-wide general schedule for alley services will start after curbside collections are completed. The number of employees committed to the task may vary from day to day; therefore, crews are unable to predict when they will be by a residence. City crews have a 20-minute time limit per residence for regular collections and 10 minutes for tree collections. Any items remaining after 20 minutes of pickup will be the responsibility of the property owner.

As in years past, the City WILL NOT pick up tires and hazardous waste. Tires should be disposed of at the Ellis County Landfill, and hazardous waste items should be disposed of at the Ellis County Hazardous Waste Facility. Please call 628-9460 or 628-9449 for detailed information.

The Annual Fall Cleanup Program, set to begin October 21st, is an opportunity for residents to discard items that would not be picked up in normal trash collection.

Waste should be placed in four separate piles in preparation of the Fall Cleanup. The piles should be organized in the following manner:

1. Tree limbs and brush - Small Quantities Only! (no longer than 12 feet in length or 6 inches in diameter); bamboo bundled in 4’ lengths; all yard and garden waste MUST be bagged

2. Construction and Demolition Debris, i.e., lumber, drywall, bricks, sinks, wires, etc. (please pull or bend over nails and place small quantities of concrete, bricks, and plaster in containers)

3. White Goods/Metals, i.e., guttering, siding, washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, metal swing sets, propane tanks for grills, lawn mowers, etc.

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *Refrigerators and freezers must be empty of all items in order for them to be picked up.

4. Municipal Waste (all other items), i.e., furniture, carpet, tv’s, computers, etc.

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *Exceptionally large items, such as hot tubs and swing sets, should be cut down into more manageable pieces in order for them to be picked up.

**TO AVOID WRONGFUL PICK UP, “TREASURED ITEMS” SHOULD BE TAGGED OR REMOVED FROM THE COLLECTION AREA**

Annual Fall Cleanup set for Oct. 21

TOPEKA — Education Commissioner Dr. Randy Watson has announced Kansas literacy rates continue to improve with fewer students scoring in Level 1 on the spring 2024 reading state assessments, marking a second straight year that number has decreased. &nbsp;

“This is good news as one of the state board of education’s goals is to move more Kansas students out of the lowest level of reading,” Watson said. “While the decrease in Level 1 reading results is slight, this is the second year in a row that measure has improved, which tells us we’re on the right track. We expect these results will continue to improve as more teachers transition to structured literacy.”&nbsp;&nbsp;

The Kansas State Board of Education invested $15 million in early literacy three years ago and committed an additional $10 million in 2024 to fund structured literacy training for Kansas teachers. Additionally, the board earlier this year approved a new licensure requirement for identified groups of educators requiring training in structured literacy or passing an exam measuring knowledge of structured literacy, beginning in 2028. &nbsp;

Structured literacy uses evidence-based science of reading principles that can be taught to all students, including those with dyslexia.&nbsp;

Watson’s announcement of the spring 2024 reading and math state assessment results coincided with his presentation of the Kansas State Department of Education’s 2023-24 annual report during this week’s Kansas State Board of Education’s monthly meeting.&nbsp; The Kansas assessment student performances are scored using four levels:&nbsp;

Students in the third through eighth grades and 10th&nbsp;grade take the reading and math state assessments annually each spring. &nbsp;

The 2024 ELA assessment results show that 33.6% of all students assessed scored at Levels 3 and 4, an increase from 33.2% in 2023 and 32.1% in 2022.&nbsp;

The 2024 ELA results show a decrease in the number of students scoring at Level 1 to 32.8%. That’s down from 32.9% in 2023 and 33.9% in 2022. &nbsp;

The 2024 math assessment results show 31.6% of all students scored at Levels 3 and 4, an increase from 31.3% in 2023 and 29.4% in 2022. &nbsp;

The 2024 math assessment results also show 33.2% of students scored at Level 1, a slight increase from 33.1% in 2023 but down from 34.2% in 2022.&nbsp;

The State Board’s goal to move more students out of Level 1 in reading, along with the initiative to increase the number of Kansas educators trained in Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling, or LETRS®, is gaining momentum.&nbsp;&nbsp;

As of Oct. 2024, an estimated 3,242 educators (including early childhood and administrators) had completed LETRS®&nbsp;training and have post-test scores. Another 12,141 educators (including early childhood and administrators) are in the process of getting trained in LETRS®. The LETRS®&nbsp;training is free for all Kansas educators as a result of federal ESSER funds. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;

Chronic absenteeism rates saw a three-year decline, going from 24.5% in 2022; 21.8% in 2023; and 19.7% in 2024. Chronic absenteeism is defined as missing 10% or more of the total number of days enrolled during the school year. It includes both excused, unexcused, out-of-school suspensions and in-school suspensions that last more than one-half of the school day.&nbsp;&nbsp;

As a lag indicator, the 2023 graduation rate declined by 1.2 percentage points to 88.1%, including a 1.3 percentage point decrease for students with disabilities. However, the graduation rate for English language learners (ELL) increased by 1 percentage point. (Graduation rates for 2024 won’t be available until later this year.)&nbsp;

While the graduation rate decreased slightly, the number of Kansas high school students participating in postsecondary courses has increased every year since 2021. The number of students concurrently enrolled, dual enrolled and those enrolled in the Excel in CTE courses at the college level in 2024 was 38,002, up from 35,785 in 2023; 33,519 in 2022; and 32,603 in 2021. The number of credit hours these students earned also increased over the same four-year period – 332,615 in 2024; 306,904 in 2023; 289,456 in 2022 and 285,402 in 2021. &nbsp;

The number of students concurrently enrolled, dual enrolled and those enrolled in the Excel in CTE courses at the college level in 2024 was 38,002, up from 35,785 in 2023; 33,519 in 2022; and 32,603 in 2021. The number of credit hours these students earned also increased over the same four-year period – 332,615 in 2024; 306,904 in 2023; 289,456 in 2022 and 285,402 in 2021. &nbsp;

Kansas schools continue to improve  student literacy

Offering family fun and pumpkin picking for the season, Pa's Pumpkin Patch in Hays is open for the rest of October.&nbsp;

Pa's Pumpkin Patch, owned by Jeff Copper, is a seasonal agritourism destination at 978 250th Ave. with family-friendly activities.

Brett and Amy Denham have managed Pa's Pumpkin Patch during the fall season for three years.

"It's a long distance to get to any other pumpkin patches. We want to serve our community and have something affordable where you can go out and have fun as a family," Brett said.

The pumpkin patch is open&nbsp;from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays and&nbsp;from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays.

Weekend admission is $7 per person, while family nights, Tuesdays, is $15 per family.

The pumpkin patch operates for five weekends each season, beginning on the last Saturday of September and continuing through Halloween.

Activities at the patch include hayrack rides, a corn maze, train rides, an RC track course, interactions with alpacas and goats, and photo booths.

"We've got several different photo booths set up. We know moms like getting family pictures," Brett said.

The pumpkin patch also features a fire pit for making s'mores and other concessions.

Brett said Copper is the "Pa" behind Pa's Pumpkin Patch, as he and his grandkids take charge of planting and caring for the pumpkins.

Brett said this year's growing season was a great success, with their largest pumpkin weighing 108 pounds.

"This is the best pumpkin season we've ever had with the amount of pumpkins and size. They are big and healthy," he said. "We didn't do anything different. We were blessed this year."

Large pumpkins are 50 cents per pound, and smaller pumpkins and gourds are also available.

Pa's Pumpkin Patch hosts field trips throughout the fall for schools, including special needs students. These trips allow students to explore and learn about agriculture.

Brett said Pa's Pumpkin Patch supports agritourism by offering local, affordable pumpkins paired with outdoor fun.

"We want to bring joy to families through our agriculture by spending time outside, growing pumpkins and learning about pumpkins," Brett said.

Pa's Pumpkin Patch open through Halloween for family nights

The Chamber in Hays, Kansas, in partnership with the Fort Hays State University Docking Institute of Public Affairs and the Department of Communication Studies, Law, &amp; Political Science, invites the public to attend the Fall Election Forum on Monday, Oct. 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Hays Public Library, 1205 Main St.

This event offers voters in Ellis County the opportunity to hear from Incumbent County Clerk Bobbi Dreiling and her challenger, Laura Allen.

Both candidates will respond to a variety of questions, with the discussion moderated by Sarah Wasinger, President and CEO of The Chamber in Hays, Kansas.

The forum aims to provide local residents with the information they need to make informed decisions for the upcoming election.

“The Chamber is dedicated to ensuring that our members and the community are well-informed on important local issues. This forum provides a valuable platform for voters to hear directly from the candidates,” Wasinger said. “We encourage everyone to participate by attending and submitting questions for the candidates.”

The event is free to the public, and light refreshments will be provided courtesy of the Fort Hays State University Docking Institute of Public Affairs and The Chamber in Hays.

Fall Election Forum set for Oct. 14

Kansas Health
Care Association and Kansas Center for Assisted Living are pleased to announce
that Representative Troy Waymaster has been awarded the prestigious Legislative
Champion Award for his outstanding commitment to advancing senior causes in
Kansas. The award was presented during the 74th KHCA/KCAL Annual Convention
and Trade Show September 27, &nbsp;2024 in Mulvane KS. 

The Legislative
Champion Award is given annually to legislators who demonstrate exceptional
leadership and dedication to the value and mission of the Kansas Health Care Association
and Kansas Center for Assisted Living particularly, in advocating for fair and
equitable funding for long term care as well as home and community-based
services. He is a strong advocate for residents living in senior care across Kansas.

“We are
honored to recognize Representative Waymaster for his relentless effort in
championing the causes of KHCA/KCAL members,” said Linda MowBray KHCA/KCAL President
and CEO. “His leadership has been instrumental in helping to provide stable,
secure funding for our long-term care residents and providers. The outcome has
been impactful and stabilizing for the nearly 300 nursing homes and over 450
Assisted Living Communities across the state.

Representative
Waymaster has been a strong advocate for long-term care and works closely with
key stakeholders to ensure that fair and equitable funding is secured for senior
care providers. He makes sure that the issues of the nursing homes and assisted
livings rise to the top and are not forgotten despite the enormous number of
issues presented to him.

&nbsp;His efforts have led to stabilization across
the long-term care continuum and are benefiting all Kansans. In accepting this
award Representative Waymaster expressed gratitude for the care provided to
seniors. He spoke of his own personal experiences and reaffirmed his commitment
to continuing the work on senior care issues. “It’s an honor to receive this
award from KHCA/KCAL,” said Waymaster. “I remain committed to ensure that all

Rep. Waymaster honored with Legislative Champion Award

Jorja Burch grew up in Pratt, Kansas, where the warmth of the community and the steadfast support of her parents, Verlan and Starla Elliott, created a nurturing environment for her to flourish.

From an early age, Jorja displayed a natural curiosity that propelled her into the world of science. A middle school science fair project that compared household bleach brands' effectiveness against stubborn Kool-Aid stains piqued her interest in understanding the “why” behind everyday things.

“I always had to understand why something worked the way it did. And my desire to dig deeper grew with every question,” Jorja reflected. Driven by this insatiable thirst for knowledge, she learned about the Kansas Academy of Mathematics and Science (KAMS) and knew this unique program was where she belonged. “I wanted a learning experience tailored to me: small class sizes where I could communicate with peers and professors and hands-on research experience.”

KAMS was no ordinary educational experience. Designed for gifted and talented students, it offered early college immersion, college-level courses, and, notably, hands-on research experience. The residential community welcomed her with open arms—a blend of intellectual rigor and camaraderie that spoke to her nature.

“From day one, I felt inspired and enthusiastic about learning,” she said, recalling her impressions of Fort Hays State University’s (FHSU) vibrant campus. “Small class sizes allowed me to engage meaningfully with my peers and professors.”

Jorja describes KAMS as “an incredible experience that taught me how to ask critical questions and design experiments, and it made me a stronger scientist overall. KAMS built the foundation, and FHSU expanded on it, which ultimately prepared me to be successful in graduate school and beyond.”

She polished her technical skills in molecular and cellular biology labs, uncovering a passion cultivated with each experiment. She thrived in a culture emphasizing collaboration, assisting her peers first as a student and later as a tutor. “It was rewarding to give back, supporting other students in subjects I had grown to love,” she noted.Jorja completed her bachelor's degree at FHSU in 2021. She served as a VIP Ambassador for the Office of the President and as the Chemistry/Pre-Professional Club president. Under her leadership, the club organized several volunteer and outreach initiatives, instilling in her the importance of community engagement. The Honors College experience further enriched her education, focusing on personal growth and mentorship.Throughout her undergraduate years, Jorja showcased her determination and capability. She presented her research findings at various conferences, connecting with fellow scientists andmentors, one of whom was Dr. Amidon, whose advice she still cherishes. “He shaped my entry into the workforce and provided invaluable insights into navigating my academic journey,” Jorja reminisced.In 2021, Jorja embarked on her Ph.D. journey at Texas A&amp;M University, a decision driven by her commitment to research and her desire to expand her understanding of evolutionary biology. “I was accepted straight out of my bachelor’s program,” she said. “That was such an honor; it meant I could jump into intensive research without taking a couple of extra years to pursue a master’s degree.”The path to her Ph.D. has been built not only on her academic achievements but has also laid a strong groundwork for future success. Recently recognized with the Lawrence S. Dillon Distinguished Graduate Student Award at Texas A&amp;M, she looks forward to defending her doctoral dissertation in November 2024.Yet Jorja’s path hasn’t been devoid of challenges. “I have always struggled with setting boundaries between my research and my personal life.”“I remember being completely overwhelmed with coursework and career planning in my second year of the KAMS program. I sat in Will Burns’ office, planning my next two years of classes, when he suggested that I wait to take organic chemistry and instead take a yoga class to try to relax. Completely appalled by this suggestion, I left to consider my options, and the next week, I enrolled in organic chemistry for the following semester. I passed the class, vowed never to take another chemistry course, and switched my study from pre-medicine to biology. Had I never made this switch, I might've never found the research I am passionate about.”Despite not following Will’s advice, Jorja recognizes his wisdom and shares that finding ways to destress is a skill she is still cultivating. While continuing to hone this skill, she encourages future generations to embrace moments of clarity and rest amidst the whirlwind of academia. “Taking time to destress is so important. I wish I had prioritized that sooner,” she adds thoughtfully, with the wisdom of her experiences resonating through her words.“I think about the moments of joy and struggle, the teachers who believed in me, the peers who supported me,” she said, reflecting on her journey. “Every step, every question asked has brought me to this point. I am so grateful to KAMS for providing the foundation upon which I built my career and to FHSU for expanding my horizons. It’s a network of support that I carry with me everywhere.”As her dissertation defense approaches in November 2024, Jorja embodies all the promises of a scientist on the precipice of a bright future. She is not just a researcher but an educator, an advocate for young students striving for their dreams in STEM, and a mentor in the making.Jorja’s unwavering dedication to research and education ensures she will leave her mark in evolutionary biology and inspire countless others to follow their dreams and explore the infinite possibilities that await them.Jorja Burch embodies the heart of an FHSU tiger through her resilience, passion, and pursuit of knowledge.
