Preston E. Dunagan, age 81, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas.
He was born on September 25, 1943, in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Thomas Willard and Julia Arlene Shull Dunagan.
A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, he was a feed truck driver and worked for Brookover Cattle Company, Fairleigh Feed Yard, Crist Feed Yard, and Baker Brothers Harvesting over the years.
He was a member of the Christian Faith and a US Army Veteran. Preston was a loyal Red Cross Blood Donator, donating over 15 gallons, and started helping with the Kansas State Nut Fry in 1963. He was an avid collector of many things, including golf balls he donated to the high school golf team, and beer tabs.
He collected enough tabs to donate over $26,000 in stays at Ronald McDonald House.Survivors include his One Brother - Thurman & Delinda Dunagan of Scott City, Kansas, Two Nephews - Jason & Linda Dunagan of Scott City, Kansas, Travis Dunagan of Scott City, Kansas, One Niece - Shannon & Harold Berry of Scott City, Kansas, One Aunt - Eva Anderson of Arcola, Illinois, and Numerous Great Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and One Brother - Leroy Dunagan.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025, at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas with the Rev. Rodney Hopper presiding.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington Street, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
