A traffic stop in Ness County led a drug-related arrested in Ness County Thursday night.

At approximately 10:45 p.m., an officer with the Ness County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle reported at H Road on Kansas 96 in Ness County, according to an announcement attributed to Sherrif Brandon Mitchell on Facebook Friday morning.

During the traffic investigation, K9 Kaia was deployed and indicated drugs were in the vehicle.

"A preliminary probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, and approximately 21 individual air-sealed bags of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located," Mitchell said.

 The male driver, who was not identified, was arrested on charges including felony distribution of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mitchell also said this is an ongoing investigation with formal charges pending in Ness County, but all&nbsp;suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

They make look fine, but they don't work well.

Jeff Boyle, Hays parks director, told Hays city commissioners Thursday night there are lots of complaints about the 10-year-old wireless baseball and softball field scoreboards at the Bickle-Schmidt Sports Complex.

"The internals on the scoreboards aren't functioning properly - the digits are just constantly going out - and the controllers haven't functioned properly for years," Boyle reported. "We've kept on buying new controllers and batteries but made sure our bid proposals were for hard-wired so we didn't have these issues again."

Commissioners unanimously approved the low bid of $79,905 from Daktronics, Brookings, S. Dak., for new 8 ft. by 14 ft. hard-wired scoreboards.&nbsp;

Boyle noted employees have installed electrical outlets in all eight ball field backstops to reliably charge the controllers.&nbsp;

The scoreboards will be paid for this year using the sports complex sales tax reserve fund which will be reimbursed in 2022 from the special park and recreation budget.&nbsp;

The scoreboard design includes a two-foot high sponsor panel at the top.&nbsp;

Not only will the top panel identify each ball field, it also adds an opportunity for the city to sell sponsorships on each scoreboard.&nbsp;

Boyle said he and Roger Bixenman, Hays Recreation Commission superintendent, have been discussing how much to charge and the possibility of combining sponsor contracts at the Hays Aquatic Park.&nbsp;

"For example, if we could get a thousand dollars per panel per year over a 10 year period - so that we're not changing the panels out - that will have paid for the scoreboards," Boyle said.&nbsp;&nbsp;

He thinks the scoreboards likely have a bigger impact than banners or sponsor signs at the swimming pool.

"Every time you look at the scoreboard, you're seeing the advertisement, so it's a little more visible. I think we have a little more room to play with."

"Right now they say you play at Field 1," added Shaun Musil, commissioner.

"I talked to a couple businesses. They said if you were at that field, you know it's so-and-so's field, so they be interested making sure you're advertising you're at "Sandy Jacobs Field" or something like that," Musil said.

There may also be an option of offering a combined sponsorship package with signs on the new shade shelters that will be installed this spring at the sports complex.&nbsp;

Boyle said he has confirmed with Daktronics the sponsor/field name panels can be added after the scoreboards are installed.

Commissioners also approved the $200,136.36 low bid from T&amp;T Builders, Hays, for installation of the ARC Park parking lot in Seven Hills Park, 33rd and Hillcrest.

The city will use a portion of its share of the Ellis County sales tax to pay for the concrete parking lot.&nbsp;

The required minimum number of handicapped parking spaces at the accessible facility is two. Boyle said the design calls for seven handicapped parking spots in the 46-stall lot.&nbsp;

Work on the parking lot is scheduled to begin the second week of April.

Baird &amp; Co., Milwaukee, Wis., to pay for the city's share of the North Vine Street Improvement Project. 🎥 City commission approves new scoreboards for sports complex, ARC parking lot

Campus Compact, a Boston-based nonprofit organization working to advance the public purposes of higher education, has announced its 2021-22 Newman Civic Fellows. The list of 212 students for this coming school year includes Caden Frank, a graduate student at Fort Hays State University.

The Newman Civic Fellowship is a year-long program for students from Campus Compact member institutions who are nominated by their institution’s president or chancellor. The students selected for the fellowship are leaders on their campuses who demonstrate a commitment to finding solutions to local, national, or international challenges.

Frank, from Omaha, Neb., graduated in December 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership. He is a first-semester student in the Master of Science in Education (MSE) degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs program at FHSU. He came to FHSU in 2017 on a soccer scholarship and intending to pursue pre-engineering coursework. After taking just one class in the Department of Leadership Studies, Frank changed his major to organizational leadership.&nbsp;That decision led to his involvement in numerous leadership projects, both on campus and in the Hays community. He was selected to the VALUE program (Voss Advanced Leadership Undergraduate Experience) through the Department of Leadership Studies, where he focused on civic and non-profit leadership. While working on his MSE degree, Frank also serves as a graduate research assistant under the mentorship of Donnette Noble, the director of Civic Learning and Engagement.

Frank said in his Newman Civic Fellows personal statement that “personal connection is at the core of all I do, both personally and professionally.” He is looking forward to collaborating with a diverse group of peers.

“My career goal is to find ways I can invest in the next generation of people and help them be change-makers,” he said. “I think this fellowship will be beneficial to hear how my peers deal with certain demographics at their universities, which will give me more insight in becoming a change agent in Hays.”

The Newman Fellowship is named for the late Frank Newman, one of Campus Compact’s founders, who was a tireless advocate for civic engagement in higher education. In the spirit of Dr. Newman’s leadership, Campus Compact member presidents and chancellors nominate student leaders from their campuses to be named Newman Civic Fellows.

“Caden is a dedicated and accomplished student leader,” FHSU President Tisa Mason wrote in her nomination statement, where she pointed out that Frank received multiple honors for his tireless service and was named the 2018 Peer Mentor for FHSU’s Honors College. “Our campus is both proud of and grateful for his contributions as an undergraduate student, and we look forward to his continued contributions to meaningful engagement as a graduate student.”&nbsp;

Through the fellowship, Campus Compact provides Fellows with a variety of learning and networking opportunities that emphasize personal, professional, and civic growth. Each year, fellows participate in numerous virtual training and networking opportunities to help them develop the skills and connections they need to create large-scale positive change. The cornerstone of the fellowship is the two-day Annual Convening of Fellows, which offers intensive skill-building and networking. On March 1 and March 2, Thomas More Prep-Marian FFA members competed in an entomology (insects) virtual contest.

The contest consisted of a 50-question exam and 50-insect identification.

TMP-M had a team competing in the senior division (juniors and seniors) and a team in the greenhand division (freshmen and sophomores).

TMP-M students won the team competition in both divisions.

 There were 74 individuals and 14 teams in the senior division, and 55 individuals and nine teams in the greenhand division.

TMP-M FFA students compete in virtual entomology contest

LAWRENCE — This spring, the Kansas Honor Scholars Program, which marks its 50th&nbsp;anniversary as a tradition of the University of Kansas Alumni Association and KU Endowment, honored more than 3,600 high school seniors throughout Kansas for their academic excellence and achievement.

Since 1971 the program has honored more than 150,000 high school seniors—from all 105 Kansas counties and approximately 360 high schools—for ranking academically in the top 10% of their class. The program is made possible by KU Endowment, alumni donations and proceeds from the Alumni Association’s&nbsp;<a href="http://www.kualumni.org/resources/ku-alumni-association-store/jayhawk-license-plates/">Jayhawk license plate program</a>, and allows the University and the Alumni Association to create more scholarship opportunities for Kansas students.

In the past, the Association has hosted recognition ceremonies throughout Kansas, but because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, scholars were honored virtually this year. ELLIS COUNTY — A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Thursday in Ellis County.&nbsp;

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Pontiac passenger vehicle driven by&nbsp;Barb, Michelle C. Barb, Ulysses, was westbound on Interstate 70 at Walker.

The driver fell asleep and the car entered the median. 

The vehicle became airborne off of an embankment, landed on Walker Avenue struck a guardrail and came to rest on the passenger side facing southwest.

EMS transported&nbsp;Barb to Hays Medical Center. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.

The University of Kansas Health System reported a "big milestone" Thursday. 

As of Thursday, there were no COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed in either the active or recovery phase.

The number of active COVID-19 patients at The University of Kansas Health System is steady today after yesterday’s spike.14 people with the active virus are being treated, down from 16 yesterday. Of those patients, three are in the ICU, the same as yesterday. Two of those patients are on ventilators, the same as yesterday. 18 other patients are still hospitalized because of COVID-19 but are out of the acute infection phase, the same as yesterday. That’s a total of 32 patients, down from 34 yesterday. A big milestone for HaysMed today as they are reporting zero COVID-19 patients, active or recovering. Doctors say we won’t know the potential effects of spring break partiers spreading COVID-19 until early April.

On today’s Morning Media Update, we updated our long-haulers clinic. Dr. Keith Sale, VP of ambulatory joined us as well as Family Medicine physician Dr. Jennifer Woodward who is seeing success with COVID-19 patients managing their illness by monitoring their oxygen levels at home. She explained how that works and what it means for patients.&nbsp;

Before diving into today’s topic, doctors discussed several important issues. With more and more states considering easing restrictions, doctors are very nervous. They pointed out COVID-19 numbers are rising in 22 states, and with so few people vaccinated, they warned that easing up now would be like fumbling the ball on the one-yard line. They urge governments to wait another 4-6 weeks when a whole lot more people will have been vaccinated.

They also discussed the latest with the AstraZeneca vaccine. Earlier this week, regulators discovered the company had not given them the most recent data for evaluation. The company admitted its error and resubmitted the latest data, which the panel said still looks very good, with a 76 percent efficacy rate in a two-dose regimen. Doctors reminded us that the FDA is widely held as the most stringent certifying body for new drugs and the world will look to see what it does with the AstraZeneca vaccine. They hope the company’s stumbles don’t stop a good drug from being approved.

Another item causing a lot of conversation is a story from Topeka in which a woman’s obituary says she died suddenly from a reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine. All the panelists expressed sympathy and said any death is tragic. While saying they don’t know enough about the woman’s medical history to be certain, they note most obituaries are written by family members, not medical professionals, and said they have a hard time believing a medical examiner would list the vaccine as the cause of death on the death certificate. They said the CDC is constantly monitoring vaccine reactions and have not reported any deaths due to the vaccine. They say COVID-19 has killed millions, but the vaccines will save billions.

Dr. Sale said the long haulers clinic at the health system has been operating very well for its own patients for some time now and is about ready to begin accepting patients from the general public. He says the key is to get a referral from your primary care physician. He explained that the clinic is for people who are still experiencing symptoms six months after COVID-19, which he says is about 20-30 percent of those with the disease. Typical symptoms are loss of taste and smell, fatigue, shortness of breath and brain fog. He added the loss of taste and smell from a virus is not new and has been noted in other non-COVID diseases for many years. The clinic offers a number of specialists to help with those symptoms, which are unique to each patient.&nbsp;

Dr. Woodward has referred many of her patients to the long haulers clinic and for them it’s been very helpful. She says in addition to the physical symptoms, many also have anxiety and depression. She explained what qualifies her patients for referral and says with many, constant monitoring of their oxygen levels is vital. That’s why those who meet the high-risk criteria are provided with a home monitoring device called a pulse oximeter and an app with which to report their daily oxygen levels. She says it’s important to let patients know they are being supported. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Dana Hawkinson, MD, medical director of Infection Prevention and Control at The University of Kansas Health System, said it’s important to remember for many with these post-acute symptoms, it’s more than just waking up with an ache every day. He’s seen many long haul patients and their symptoms often affect their daily quality of life. He says that’s why it’s so important to have this multi-specialty clinic to help each patient address their unique problems and help to get them back to their normal lives. He also had advice for anyone wanting to get on an airplane two weeks after their first dose of the vaccine. He says after 12 days, you do start to get some protection, but not the full protection of two doses. He says it’s vital to keep your mask and eye protection on for the duration of the flight and in the airport.&nbsp;

Steve Stites, MD, chief medical officer at The University of Kansas Health System, is heading out on a week-long vacation. He said he may check in from time to time like Dr. Hawkinson did last summer. He said to keep in mind there is no such thing as the perfect treatment for this, or any virus. But he implores us to look at the data, and believe in faith, hope and science to get us through this pandemic so we can return to what our new normal will be. He says it will be a lot better than it’s been for the past year but adds we must all get vaccinated and keep observing the pillars of infection prevention.

🎥 MILESTONE: HaysMed reports no COVID-19 inpatients

The Hays Fire Department will be inspecting and flow testing fire hydrants on Friday in the area from Highway 183 Alt. to Fort St. between 27th St. and Seventh St. 

This is part of a coordinated effort by the city of Hays to inspect all fire hydrants in the city and flush all water mains annually. 

Inspecting fire hydrants ensures that the valves operate properly and that there is no damage or obstructions that will prevent or interfere with the prompt use of fire hydrants in an emergency. 

Firefighters are also checking the pressure and volume of water mains in each neighborhood for firefighting purposes.

PHILLIPS COUNTY—A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just after 9:30a.m. Thursday in Phillips County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Ford Taurus driven by Emily M. Vohs, 22, Plainville, was eastbound on K-9 Highway two miles west of Logan.

The car entered the south ditch and struck a milepost sign. The driver overcorrected and the car entered the north ditch, traveled over a culvert and came to rest on K-9 Highway. The driver then moved the car to a field drive.

Rooks Co. woman hospitalized after car strikes sign

TOPEKA, Kan. – The schedule for the KSHSAA State Championship Track and Field Meet has been modified for this year and will be conducted May 27-29.&nbsp; Athletes and schools in all classifications will still compete for state titles at Cessna Stadium on the Wichita State University campus. Postseason plans for all other spring activities were finalized at the KSHSAA Executive Board meeting, March 23 and 24.

Kansas is known nationwide for its spectacular state championship track meet which traditionally marks the end of the KSHSAA competition year. With the current climate of the COVID-19 pandemic, adjustments had to be made to mitigate risk at the event. Working with Wichita State University, the plan ultimately led to adding one day which allows for two classes to compete each day in one day track meets. Spectator attendance will be announced at a later date.

The early spring rain in Hays continued a second day, adding another 0.23 inches on Wednesday.

According to the official report from the K-State Agricultural Research Center, Hays has received 4.69 inches of moisture so far this month, nearly four times the 152-year cumulative average for March of 1.25 inches.

The yearly total is also above average, with 5.48 inches of moisture received as of March 24, compared to 2.46 inches by March 31.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The weekly Kansas Drought Monitor released Thursday currently shows no drought for Ellis County (3 down, 5 right from upper left county on map).

Drought conditions in far western Kansas range from severe drought to abnormally dry.&nbsp;

Ellis Co. removed from drought map as another quarter-inch of rain falls in Hays

Beginning Thursday, 27th Street will be closed at Canal for storm sewer work in preparation of the 27th Street reconstruction project in Hays. Westbound 27th Street will be detoured north on Canal to 29th Street, then west to Hall. Eastbound 27th Street will be detoured south on Canal Blvd to 24th Street, then east to Walnut. 

This work will last approximately one week. 

On or about April 1, construction will begin at the intersection of 27th and Hall.

MASON: Schmidt Foundation fuels dreams of FHSU scholars

LOGAN — The <a href="https://hansenmuseum.org/">Hansen Museum</a> is putting the finishing touches on a more than $3 million renovation of its facilities and exhibits.

The museum opened in 1972 in Logan. The renovation was funded by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation. The museum's operating costs are primarily covered by the foundation, and the museum has a section dedicated to Dane G. Hansen and his contributions to the region.

Hansen lived in Logan between 1883 and 1965. He was owned and operated both&nbsp;Hansen Construction Co. and&nbsp;was among the largest independent operators in Kansas.&nbsp; He was also active in the Republican Party, although never sought office himself.

Although the museum has been steadily maintained since its opening, the current renovation, which began in 2019, was the first major overhaul of the building and its exhibits since its opening, said Shari Buss, museum director.

"It has been really well cared for. The maintenance schedules have been very strictly followed, so it didn't look terrible, but we just noticed things that were falling apart," Buss said.

The museum contracted with Dimensional Innovations of Kansas City to oversea the renovation.

The art gallery and community room stayed primarily the same.&nbsp;Carpet and wall coverings were replaced, and a new drop-down ceiling with LED lighting was installed.

The art gallery showcases rotating art exhibits, and the community room displays art from the museum's permanent exhibit, as well as features a rotating artist of the month.

The museum's 44th annual student art show kicks off Friday and will run through April 18. It will feature art from students in Norton, Phillipsburg, Smith Center, Hill City, Trego County, Pike Valley and at&nbsp;Thomas More Prep-Marian.

The Hansen family history section of the museum was substantially changed, Buss said.

A new vertical welcome kiosk tells of museum's origins, past events and future activities.

A round seating area with kiosk and display cases tells the history of the Hansen family. The areas dedicated to Dane G. Hansen's sister, Kate, who was a missionary to Japan were also rebuilt as was the area that holds the museum's firearm, knife and coin collections.

An exhibit depicting Dane G. Hansen's office also has been reconfigured.&nbsp;

With exhibits remodeled, Buss said people are noticing items in the permanent collection they never noticed before.

"People who have been here before will say, 'I haven't seen that before,' " Buss said. "The Charles Rogers painting has always been here, but I think it pops off the blue, and the lighting is a little bit better. [People will say,] 'Kate's dishes are so pretty, I just&nbsp; don't remember seeing them before.' "

Money was also invested in the museum's physical plant.

The museum had started to have problems with some leaks in the roof. It replaced its roof, windows and HVAC system.&nbsp;

The new HVAC system resulted in a dramatic drop in the museum's utility bills, so much so the gas company came to inspect the system to make sure the meter was working correctly.

The rock exterior was cleaned and caulked.

A new electronic sign was added. The previous sign only provided the time and temperature, whereas the new board will be able to feature messages about museum exhibits and events.

The museum's office space and work space was moved and reconfigured, which has given the museum staff more room to work with greater efficiency.

Don and Connie Werner, owners of Werner Wagon Work, Horton, constructed a covered wagon now on display on the museum grounds. The wagon is meant to commemorate Dane G. Hansen's trip to Colorado as boy.

"It was a very pivotal time in Mr. Hansen's life, because he got to look at industry in the city," Buss said. ... "He was always very mindful of how things worked and how to do things better and what people wanted because that was how his father was. ...

"Although he was only 8, it was almost a rite of passage for him, moving into the teenage years and starting to think in terms of a young man."

Although the work that was done to the physical plant of the museum was significant, even more work went in to updating the permanent exhibits at the museum.

All of the exhibit descriptions were rewritten after significant research and editing with historical accuracy and improving the museum visitor experience in mind.

"The artifacts were labeled, probably as good as they could be at the time they were put together, but to have Mr. Hansen's full story laid out before you, you really needed to have a personal tour with an employee of the museum," Buss said.

"We have laid it out so we can hit every level of museum goer," she said.&nbsp;

Although Logan is a bit off of the beaten path (more than an hour drive from Hays), Buss said the quality of exhibits the museum hosts draws visitors from across the region. She said much of the interest in the museum is spread through word of mouth.

"If we can get a few visitors in and excited about what we have on display, they go back out and tell others," Buss said. "Once you get people in the door, local people and people in northwest Kansas know who Mr. Hansen is and they appreciate everything the Hansen Foundation does."&nbsp;

The museum had a small event recently to celebrate the renovation with board trustees and others who worked on the renovation.

"The museum board is a volunteer board, and they worked tirelessly on this project. My hat's off to them," Buss said.

Museum officials hope to have a public open house at a later date. The event is being postponed over lingering pandemic concerns, Buss said.

"My first hope is more people will come in and enjoy it," Buss said of the museum now the renovation is almost complete, "more people will learn about Mr. Hansen and be inspired by his amazing story."

The Hansen Museum does not charge admission. It is open 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays; 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturdays; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays.

Two NW Kansas students selected for KSU's Silver Key

YODER — Twenty-three new law enforcement officers graduated from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center on March 19 at a ceremony held in KLETC’s Integrity Auditorium.

Deputy Eli Miller of the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office was the graduating class president. The speaker for the ceremony was U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran, R-Kan. Michael Turenne, KLETC senior instructor of police, was the class coordinator for the 275th Basic Training Class.

Officer Logan Grant of the Galena Police Department was recognized by KLETC Executive Director Darin Beck and awarded a KLETC Certificate of Commendation for his actions in the performance of his duties. Grant, along with Officer Samantha Snell of the Galena Police Department, risked their lives Jan. 18 in an attempt to save victims of a fiery two-vehicle head-on crash.

Officer Jarrod Rosenstock of the Garden City Police Department walked, ran or biked more than 200 miles during his time at KLETC and exceeded the other physical requirements of the 200 Mile Club, including push-ups, sit-ups and a timed run. He received the Fitness Award. Deputy Fredrick Mata of the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office was also recognized during the ceremony for his firearms proficiency as the class “Top Shot."

Moran addressed the graduating students and spoke of their courage.

“Life is full of risks, and those who are willing to take those risks are the ones we should honor and esteem,” he said. “That's what we are doing here today.”

Beck said he appreciated Moran taking his time to speak to the 275th basic training class.

“KLETC is grateful for Senator Moran’s support for Kansas law enforcement," Beck said.

Graduates receive certificates of course completion from KLETC and Kansas law enforcement certification from the Kansas Commission on Peace Officers’ Standards and Training, the state’s law enforcement licensing authority. The training course fulfills the state requirement for law enforcement training. Classroom lectures and hands-on applications help train officers to solve the increasingly complex problems they face in the line of duty.

Established by the Kansas Legislature in 1968, KLETC trains the majority of municipal, county and state law enforcement officers in Kansas and oversees the training of the remaining officers at seven authorized and certified academy programs operated by local law enforcement agencies and the Kansas Highway Patrol.

About 300 officers enroll annually in KLETC 14-week basic training programs. KLETC offers continuing education and specialized training to over 10,000 Kansas officers each year. KLETC is located one mile west and one mile south of Yoder, near Hutchinson, and is a division of the University of Kansas Lifelong &amp; Professional Education.

The graduates, who began their training in November 2020, represented 19 municipal, county and state law enforcement agencies from across Kansas. Graduates are listed below by county and agency:

Michael Turenne, KLETC senior instructor of police, was the class coordinator for the 275th Basic Training Class.Officer Logan Grant of the Galena Police Department was recognized by KLETC Executive Director Darin Beck and awarded a KLETC Certificate of Commendation for his actions in the performance of his duties. Grant, along with Officer Samantha Snell of the Galena Police Department, risked their lives Jan. 18 in an attempt to save victims of a fiery two-vehicle head-on crash.Officer Jarrod Rosenstock of the Garden City Police Department walked, ran or biked more than 200 miles during his time at KLETC and exceeded the other physical requirements of the 200 Mile Club, including push-ups, sit-ups and a timed run. He received the Fitness Award. Deputy Fredrick Mata of the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office was also recognized during the ceremony for his firearms proficiency as the class “Top Shot."Moran addressed the graduating students and spoke of their courage.“Life is full of risks, and those who are willing to take those risks are the ones we should honor and esteem,” he said. “That's what we are doing here today.”Beck said he appreciated Moran taking his time to speak to the 275th basic training class.“KLETC is grateful for Senator Moran’s support for Kansas law enforcement," Beck said.Graduates receive certificates of course completion from KLETC and Kansas law enforcement certification from the Kansas Commission on Peace Officers’ Standards and Training, the state’s law enforcement licensing authority. The training course fulfills the state requirement for law enforcement training. Classroom lectures and hands-on applications help train officers to solve the increasingly complex problems they face in the line of duty.Established by the Kansas Legislature in 1968, KLETC trains the majority of municipal, county and state law enforcement officers in Kansas and oversees the training of the remaining officers at seven authorized and certified academy programs operated by local law enforcement agencies and the Kansas Highway Patrol.About 300 officers enroll annually in KLETC 14-week basic training programs. KLETC offers continuing education and specialized training to over 10,000 Kansas officers each year. KLETC is located one mile west and one mile south of Yoder, near Hutchinson, and is a division of the University of Kansas Lifelong &amp; Professional Education.The graduates, who began their training in November 2020, represented 19 municipal, county and state law enforcement agencies from across Kansas.
