SHERMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Friday in Goodland.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Ford F150 driven by Dakota James Smith, 19, Goodland was traveling in the 100 block of west U.S 24 in Goodland. When the driver attempted to turn left into the parking lot of Central Plains Equipment, the pickup struck a westbound 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Ernesto V.Gonzales, 60, Goodland.
EMS transported Gonzales to Goodland Regional Medical Center. Smith was not injured. Gonzales was not wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
