Melissa Hunsicker Walburn, the Interim Dean of the Robbins College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Fort Hays State University, was selected to lead the college as its next dean.

Hunsicker-Walburn has served as interim dean of the college on two occasions and brings more than a decade of experience as a senior higher education administrator and teacher to the position. Hunsicker-Walburn brings a diverse professional background, strategic vision, and entrepreneurial mindset to the role.&nbsp; Her experiences prior to higher education include working as litigation counsel and technical staff in highly complex and competitive industries of telecommunications and public utilities, as well as directing Kansas’ 529 college-savings plan. In addition to her work for Fort Hays State University, she currently serves as an appointed director on the board of High Plains Farm Credit.

“Melissa’s agile and authenticity-centered leadership drove the Robbins College of Business and Entrepreneurship to continued growth in the MBA program, record student scholarship awards, and several new global academic partnership opportunities,” said FHSU Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs&nbsp;Jill&nbsp;Arensdorf. “She cares deeply about the faculty, staff, and students at FHSU.&nbsp; I look forward to working with Melissa to finalize the RCOBE strategic plan and vision for the future.”

Hunsicker-Walburn led the effort to secure two renewals of a National Security Administration Center for Academic Excellence accreditation for the Information Enterprise Institute at FHSU. She also envisioned and led the establishment of FHSU’s innovative Cybersecurity Institute and Technology Incubator, which today serves small and mid-sized businesses in Kansas by providing critical information security consulting services and targeted student microinternship support.

She was also instrumental in creating and expanding experiential student learning opportunities, including FHSU’s student multimedia news agency, the Tiger Media Network, and the New Media Institute, which empowers students to explore the intersection of culture, communication, and technology, study abroad, innovative business entrepreneurship-focused student competitions, and in the university’s efforts to advance workforce development and economic prosperity across the state of Kansas.

Judith Kay Leiker, 77, Hays, died Sunday, March 16, 2025 at
HaysMed after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born September 3, 1947 in Hays, the daughter of
Everett J. “Corky” and Rosalind (Staab) Urban.&nbsp;
She attended Loretto Elementary School, Victoria High School, and Hays
High School, and on June 8, 1974 she was united in marriage to Allen F. Leiker
in Hays, celebrating 50 years of marriage.&nbsp;
Judith was a loving homemaker and she worked with Allen at Al’s
Kerr-McGee Station, which they owned and operated.&nbsp; She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic
Church, a past member of the VFW Auxiliary, enjoyed music, gardening, and was
interested in genealogy, keeping many family newspaper clippings, and creating
photo books.&nbsp; Her love for animals included
her precious dogs, raising rabbits, and nurturing orphaned birds.&nbsp; She enjoyed trips to Estes Park and the
mountains, but her greatest love was her family. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Survivors include her husband Allen F. Leiker of Hays, a
son, Jason Leiker of Plainville, two daughters, Jackie Lang and husband Randy
of Hays and Laura Geschwentner of husband Jeff of Ellis, a stepson, William
Leiker of Colorado Springs, CO, her brother, Tim Urban and wife Donna of
Lenexa, two sisters, Patricia Fielder and husband Phil of Basehor and Diane
Urban of Hays, nine grandchildren, Cole Lang and wife Ashley, Brandi Lang, Cody
Jarmer, Derrick Jarmer, Brandon Geschwentner, Mara Lang and husband Jonathan,
Nicholas Geschwentner, James Leiker, and Jonathan Leiker, eight great
grandchildren, Anthony, Hunter, Elyse, MaKenna, Lake, Landon, Bentley and
Paisley, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter,
Michelle Jarmer, and three grandchildren, Nicole Lang, Michael Leiker, and
Bryce Jarmer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Thursday,
March 20, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Reginald A. Urban
officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow in St.
Joseph Cemetery.&nbsp; Visitation will be from
5:00 pm until 8:00 on Wednesday and from 9:00 am until 9:45 on Thursday, all at
Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.&nbsp; A parish
vigil service and rosary will be at 6:30 pm on Wednesday at the funeral

Sophomore Ty Schmeidler led the Monarchs in scoring at 12.9
points per game. 

Seniors Noah Dowll of Hoxie, Carson Keith from Hill City and
Norton’s Eli Jones joined him on the first team. 

Jones averaged 17.7 points per game and was a unanimous first-team
pick.

🏀 Three TMP boys named to All-MCL teams

The TMP-Marian girls’ basketball team had two players named to the All Mid-Continent League, released Monday by league officials.

TMP senior Brooke Koenigsman was named one of the unanimous first-team selections.

The complete list of selections is available below.

Koenigsman led the Monarchs, scoring 14.2 points per game. She also led the team in rebounds (5.0) and assists (3.2) per game. 

She was joined on the first team by Norton senior Hallie Brooks, also a unanimous first-team selection.

Brooks averaged 12.2 points per game this season. 

Seniors Emily Bainter from Hoxie and Kayla Jacobs of Phillipsburg were also named on the first team.

Oakley’s Jade Beckman was the only non-senior named to the first team.

TMP’s Gracyn Schipper was named to the second team.

Hays Post SportsThe TMP-Marian girls’ basketball team had two players named to the All Mid-Continent League, released Monday by league officials.TMP senior Brooke Koenigsman was named one of the unanimous first-team selections.The complete list of selections is available below.Koenigsman led the Monarchs, scoring 14.2 points per game. She also led the team in rebounds (5.0) and assists (3.2) per game. She was joined on the first team by Norton senior Hallie Brooks, also a unanimous first-team selection.Brooks averaged 12.2 points per game this season. KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Fort Hays State third baseman Trey DeGarmo&nbsp;has been named the latest MIAA Hitter of the Week, announced Monday by the league office.

The senior was crucial in four wins over ranked opponents last week, totaling four home runs, 11 RBI, seven runs and nine hits in 16 at-bats (.563 average). DeGarmo posted a slugging percentage of 1.313 across the four games and reached base at a .611 clip.

The Andover, Kan. native extended his hitting streak to 10 games in the process, clubbing at least one home run in three of the four games this week. DeGarmo wrapped up a series win against No. 25 Missouri Southern with a walk-off grand slam to complete a run-rule victory last Monday before delivering a walk-off single in extra innings of the series opener against Central Oklahoma on Friday.

DeGarmo added three more home runs over the weekend against the Bronchos, including two long balls and five RBI in Saturday's 13-12 win. The reigning MIAA Gold Glove winner was also stellar in the field, recording 10 assists and three putouts on 13 total chances at the hot corner.

The league-leading Tigers have now had three players earn weekly conference honors this season (<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/baseball/roster/elliott-herrmann/8422">Elliott Herrmann</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/baseball/roster/cade-flaherty/8420">Cade Flaherty</a>), more than any other school in the league.

⚾ FHSU's DeGarmo named MIAA Hitter of the Week

After winning the Western Athletic Conference title in 2024, the Hays High Lady Indians did a re-set of their goals for the 2025 campaign to include bigger and better final destinations.

The Lady Indians, under fifth-year coach Len Melvin, accomplished that in a big way, repeating their 8-0 WAC double round-robin record, but went two steps further, winning their Class 5A sub-state to reach the state championship for the first time in 29 years.

That ultimate goal, taking a 22-0 record to the state tourney, ended prematurely with a heart-breaking 51-48 to private school St. Thomas Acquinas in the quarterfinals of the state tourney on March 12 in Emporia.

However, that final record of 22-1 for the Lady Indians will certainly go down historically as one of the best in program laurels.

That will be the message for Melvin as he sees a solid class of seniors departing, including all-state guard Molly Martin and center Katie Linenberger, who both notched positions on the All-WAC first and second teams.

Shed no tears, though, as Melvin will welcome a talented underclass group back for 2025-26 spearheaded by rising-sophomore Jenna Schmeidler, who was voted WAC Player of the Year by the conference coaches. It is believed that Schmeidler is the first freshman to garner the award.

“We were blessed to have nearly a perfect blend of players in back-to-back-to-back classes,” Melvin said of this year’s Hays squad. “The seniors had suffered with bad losses as freshmen so they remembered what it was like to not be on a winning team and set a standard of hard work that carried through to the younger players.”

Melvin said the unselfishness of this year’s team was one of the key components of the success they enjoyed.

“Nobody cared about who scored the most points, or who played the most minutes,” Melvin said. “We were fortunate to have games where we were able to have a lot of players get significant varsity minutes.”

That’s what happens when your team is winning by big margins as the Indians averaged 64 points a game to their opponents’ 31. In the WAC, the margin was even higher (65.4-27.5), a 37.9-point differential.

“I think we had a running clock in about 16 or 17 games, so our statistics really don’t give a true picture of what some of the players could have done had the clock not been running,” Melvin said. “But, it gave us a chance to play a lot of young players to give them experience.”

While the WAC served as about 40 percent of the team’s schedule, it was the non-conference slate that provided the most challenges.

The Indians defeated Class 3A state semifinalist Colby, 52-35; they toppled private Sunrise Christian Academy, 64-43, and Life Prep Academy (63-56) while battling 4A power Wellington (in state semifinals) before winning a dramatic 74-72 overtime thriller.

“We wanted to be able to take that next step up to be competitive at the highest level, and I think we proved that we were able to do that,” Melvin said.&nbsp;

The joy of going undefeated during the regular season and then qualifying for the state for the first time in nearly three decades saw the enduring heartbreak of a season not fully realized in the team’s loss to St. Thomas Aquinas, which as the No. 8 seed, won the 5A title on Saturday (March 15).

“We got the worst draw possible,” Melvin said of the Indians’ first-round foe. “They’re very good, but we were right there with them. I still think we are as good as them, but just weren’t on that one night. When you’re playing at that level, you have to be able to meet the challenge and we came up just a little short.”

Aquinas was the only team to score more than 50 points against the Indians’ defense.

“The girls take a lot of pride and I think they did such a good job of transitioning from practice into the games,” Melvin said. “The defense has to be our identity because it gives you a chance to compete.”

Melvin, however, said there is little he would change, considering that despite losing a handful of seniors to graduation, he feels good about the returning group.

“We had a number of players in the lower classes who probably could have played varsity, but we wanted to be sure they got minutes on the court and thus we played them on sub-varsity,” Melvin said. “I think we’ve got a great group of players coming back and I’m excited to see where we go from here.”

While the winning margin in the WAC was significant, Melvin said he still has a lot of respect for the other schools.

“A lot of the teams have some really good underclass players and are well-coached,” Melvin said. “We don’t take anything for granted with any opponent and I’m proud that our team did a great job of preparing for each game and not take anybody for granted.”

Melvin loses Martin and Linenberger along with a couple of other veterans, but will return Schmeidler, the do-everything 5–7-point guard who averaged 15.9 points per game while directing traffic for the Indians’ offense. Martin and Linenberger averaged 13.7 and 9.6 points while the returning Winter averaged 6.3 ppg. Schmeidler’s point output was 366 for the season.

In addition to Schmeidler and Martin, the first team all-WAC included juniors Shamari Lewis and Kylie Rhine of Liberal, and K.J. Pinchon of Garden City.

Len Melvin will be the first person to tell you that he expected Jenna Schmeidler to be a good player going into her freshman basketball season at Hays High School.

But what he could not have told you is just how good she would be in her rookie high school campaign.&nbsp;

All Schmeidler did was to come into an already-talented Hays High roster, find her way to the starting point guard position that allowed all-state guard Molly Martin to move to the No. 2 shooting guard spot.

“It opened up a whole new playbook for us,” Melvin said of Schmeidler, who is believed to be the first freshman in the WAC’s 40-plus history to win the award. “She has given us so many options that worked to the talents of the other players.”

Schmeidler proved to be adept both on the offensive and defensive end of the court, averaging 15.9 points per game to lead the team in scoring. She shot 50.6 percent from the field, including 37.6 percent from 3-point range while making 89.9 percent of her free throws on 62-of-69 charities.

“Everybody around just becomes a better player,” Melvin said. “Obviously, there are things where she can get better, but her work ethic is as good as any player I’ve coached. I just wasn’t sure how she would transition to the varsity level as a freshman.”

For Schmeidler, the WAC honor was something of a mild shock if not total surprise.

“I knew I’d been working hard and knew that Molly&nbsp; and others were seniors and very deserving of the award,” Schmeidler said. “So, when Coach (Melvin) told, me I was just grateful that others saw that I had worked hard at playing the game.”

Schmeidler said she gives all the credit to her teammates who share in the award.

“The seniors accepted me from the very beginning,” Schmeidler said. “They took me right in. We were able to change the offense and was able to use my knowledge to help.”

Schmeidler said that her commitment to excelling in the sport started in the sixth grade.

“I knew I wanted to focus on basketball and to work to become the best player I could possibly be,” Schmeidler said. “I spent two hours a day working on all areas of my game. I’m never satisfied with how I play.”

Schmeidler said that her continued improvement will include getting stronger to help her in the drive to the basket and to improve her court vision.

“If I have a bad shooting night, I’ve got to find other ways to contribute,” Schmeidler said. “If I get stronger I can be more effective in protecting the ball on offense.”

Defensively, Schmeidler also sees areas in which she can improve.

“I think I do a pretty good job of playing on-ball defense,” Schmeidler said. “It’s important to have good communication with my teammates so I can help them more. My off-ball defense can get better, too.”

Her plans will include an intensive summer workout program with a personal trainer.

“We’ll work the first 30 minutes on agility drills and then work on all the specific individual drills to get better in all areas,” Schmeidler said. “The biggest thing is to get physically stronger and quicker and be better at seeing the game at a pace that benefits our team.”

While knowing she will miss the graduating seniors from this year’s squad, Schmeidler is excited with her other underclass returnees.

“A lot of them got valuable junior varsity minutes and they were tearing it up at that level,” Schmeidler said. “I think we’re gonna have an awesome team, and we just want to get back to state and improve to work toward a championship.”

Melvin, too, says he likes the roster that will return for 2025-26.

“We’ve got nice pieces in the junior-sophomore classes and it’s been beneficial to stack back-to-back classes with quality players,” Melvin said. “When you have somebody with the skill set of Jenna, you know you’ll have a good chance to win a lot of games.”

 </figure>By BRETT MARSHALL Western Athletic ConferenceAfter winning the Western Athletic Conference title in 2024, the Hays High Lady Indians did a re-set of their goals for the 2025 campaign to include bigger and better final destinations.The Lady Indians, under fifth-year coach Len Melvin, accomplished that in a big way, repeating their 8-0 WAC double round-robin record, but went two steps further, winning their Class 5A sub-state to reach the state championship for the first time in 29 years.That ultimate goal, taking a 22-0 record to the state tourney, ended prematurely with a heart-breaking 51-48 to private school St. Thomas Acquinas in the quarterfinals of the state tourney on March 12 in Emporia.However, that final record of 22-1 for the Lady Indians will certainly go down historically as one of the best in program laurels.That will be the message for Melvin as he sees a solid class of seniors departing, including all-state guard Molly Martin and center Katie Linenberger, who both notched positions on the All-WAC first and second teams.Shed no tears, though, as Melvin will welcome a talented underclass group back for 2025-26 spearheaded by rising-sophomore Jenna Schmeidler, who was voted WAC Player of the Year by the conference coaches. It is believed that Schmeidler is the first freshman to garner the award.“We were blessed to have nearly a perfect blend of players in back-to-back-to-back classes,” Melvin said of this year’s Hays squad. “The seniors had suffered with bad losses as freshmen so they remembered what it was like to not be on a winning team and set a standard of hard work that carried through to the younger players.”Melvin said the unselfishness of this year’s team was one of the key components of the success they enjoyed.“Nobody cared about who scored the most points, or who played the most minutes,” Melvin said. “We were fortunate to have games where we were able to have a lot of players get significant varsity minutes.”That’s what happens when your team is winning by big margins as the Indians averaged 64 points a game to their opponents’ 31. In the WAC, the margin was even higher (65.4-27.5), a 37.9-point differential.“I think we had a running clock in about 16 or 17 games, so our statistics really don’t give a true picture of what some of the players could have done had the clock not been running,” Melvin said. “But, it gave us a chance to play a lot of young players to give them experience.”While the WAC served as about 40 percent of the team’s schedule, it was the non-conference slate that provided the most challenges.The Indians defeated Class 3A state semifinalist Colby, 52-35; they toppled private Sunrise Christian Academy, 64-43, and Life Prep Academy (63-56) while battling 4A power Wellington (in state semifinals) before winning a dramatic 74-72 overtime thriller.“We wanted to be able to take that next step up to be competitive at the highest level, and I think we proved that we were able to do that,” Melvin said.&nbsp;The joy of going undefeated during the regular season and then qualifying for the state for the first time in nearly three decades saw the enduring heartbreak of a season not fully realized in the team’s loss to St. Thomas Aquinas, which as the No. 8 seed, won the 5A title on Saturday (March 15).“We got the worst draw possible,” Melvin said of the Indians’ first-round foe. “They’re very good, but we were right there with them. 🏀 HHS boys have three named to All-WAC team

Marietta Billinger, a beloved mother, grandmother and
lifelong resident of Park, Kansas, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, at
the age of 104. She was born on September 4, 1920, the daughter of Alexander
and Josephine Depperschmidt and lived a rich, full life dedicated to her
family, faith, and community. Marietta’s education began in a country school
before attending Park High School graduating in 1939. On January 3, 1945,
Anthony Billinger and Marietta were married at Sacred Heart Church in Park, Kansas.
Marietta resided in Park until the age of 98 at which time she moved to
assisted living in Hays, Kansas later moving to Via Christi Ascension.

Marietta was a devoted mother to her six children and a
cherished grandmother to her many grandchildren who brought her immense joy
throughout her long life. Her home was a gathering place filled with love,
laughter, and the warmth of family and friends, whom she treasured deeply.

Tony and Marietta opened Billinger Repair Shop in 1957
selling Minneapolis Moline tractors where she assisted with bookkeeping,
showcasing her keen mind and strong work ethic. Marietta continued to work into
her golden years, retiring at the age of 89.

Marietta began her career in 1963, as the first and only
school secretary in the Park school system. Throughout her 28 years of serving
the Park and Grainfield school districts she served in several roles as
secretary in both Park and Wheatland schools, as well as serving as the school
board administrator and treasurer, where her kindness and organizational skills
left a lasting impression on students, staff and parents alike.

A faithful Catholic, Marietta’s spiritual life was a
cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through both triumphs and challenges.
Her commitment to her faith was evident in the way she lived-selflessly and
with grace. Marietta was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Altar
Society in Park, and Daughters of Isabella in Park and Oakley. Her special
interests included golf, bowling, movies, traveling and especially dancing.
Marietta had the opportunity to travel to many foreign countries, including her
favorite country Italy and meeting the Pope. One of her most memorable travels
was her trip to Hawaii with her daughters and surviving hurricane Iniki.
&nbsp;She was known for her delicious meals especially fried chicken, Christmas
cookies, and fudge. Marietta always rose to the occasion when Tony would bring
home extra people for an evening meal. Marietta’s legacy is one of resilience,
love, and community. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her
spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched.

Survivors include: three sons Terry (Carol deceased) Park, KS,
Rick (Rita) Billinger Goodland, KS, Keith (Gladys) Billinger Victoria, KS,
three daughters Deanna (John) Siefken Grainfield, KS, Jeanell (Tim deceased)
Smith Aurora, CO, Laura (Terry) Friend Lake Kiowa, TX. Marietta is also
survived by grandchildren Kerry (Barb) Billinger, Ron (Jennifer) Billinger,
Aaron (CiCi) Siefken, Nicole Siefken, Jonathan (Coral) Siefken, Bri (James)

Smith County doctor to discuss arthritis on SHPBS show

The Ellis County Commission will hear suggestions from a resident regarding road conditions in rural subdivisions during its meeting at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The discussion will focus on establishing a standardized approach to road maintenance, gathering feedback from residents in various subdivisions and exploring potential solutions.

Due to technical issues from the previous commission meeting, the subdevelopment road discussion was postponed to this Tuesday.

An adjoining property owner has requested Ellis County Public Works vacate the right of way for St. Jacobs Street in Catherine.

According to state statute, the county commissioners may vacate the right of way if the road is impassable due to neglect or nonuse and is no longer necessary for public utility.

Public Works Director Brendan Mackay will present the discussion.

Ellis County Library Board appointment and update

The Ellis County Library Board will request Alisha Hammerschmidt's reappointment for a new term ending April 30, 2029, and approval of funding for 2025 expenses.

Commissioner Michael Berges will lead the discussion. If approved, the county administrator will allocate funds from the contingency budget to the general fund.

The Ellis County Historical Society is seeking a letter of support from the county to include with its grant application to T-Mobile. The grant would fund the purchase of new exhibit displays.

Ellis County EMS Director Danita Schroeder will request approval to purchase a Stryker PowerPro Cot and Powerload system for $54,504. The equipment will be used in a newly acquired ambulance.

The Ellis County Road and Bridge Division will seek approval to purchase a 2021 Caterpillar excavator for $184,736. The county's current 2005 CAT excavator has limitations in reaching specific project sites.

Beginning Monday, March 17, the 300 and 400 blocks of West 10th Street will be closed for curb and brick repair/replacement.

The work is anticipated to take two weeks (weather permitting).

The city of Hays regrets any inconvenience this may cause to the public.

Friends of a Salina man who died in the multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 in the dust storm on Friday established a fundraiser to assist the family.

Dawson Hogan, 20, was one of eight who died in the crash.

"Dawson was a vibrant presence on campus—a dedicated member of the Men’s Wrestling program, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and involved in student life events. He excelled academically, recently earning a nomination for the National Technical Honor Society. As a sophomore, he was on track to earn his Journeyman license, graduate this semester, and embark on a career in the electrical industry."

"We ask our campus community to keep Dawson’s family, friends, classmates, and teammates in their thoughts and prayers during this heartbreaking time. He will be missed by many. Continued prayers to all of the individuals and their families involved in the tragedy."

Those who started the fundraiser wrote, "Please remember to lift up his parents&nbsp;Steve and Dana Bonilla Hogan and his siblings including sisters Sydney, Jasmine and Selena and brothers Chance and Dakota."

🎧 Defend the Fort Podcast: FHSU Rewind-WBB vs. Southern Nazarene (March 14, 2025)

Hill City native Jerry Garrison began his career in the automotive glass industry shortly after high school, eventually securing a position at Kenny Chapman Auto Glass in Wichita.

"At that time, I got to meet Carter Collier. He became a great friend, he mentored me and taught me a lot about the glass business," Jerry said.

Advantage Glass Plus marked its grand reopening and customer appreciation day on Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Chamber in Hays. Jerry and his son Nathan Garrison were showered with love from family and customers.

Jerry's longtime friend, Collier, passed away in 2014 after they worked together at the family-owned Massa Glass in Colorado. After some persuasion, the two relocated once more to open a store in Hays.

Safelite Auto Glass, a national chain, later acquired Massa Glass, where Jerry continued working until he decided to take a different route.

"I did not like the corporate world or the way they operated," Jerry said. "Between Collier and another investor, we started Advantage Glass Plus in 1992 and have been going ever since."

Jerry prioritized customer care and meeting their needs in any way possible. With the support of his family, Jerry and his wife, Dee Garrison, opened Advantage Glass Plus at 4310 Vine St. In 2005, it relocated to its current address at 1005 Vine St.

Construction for the expansion and remodel began in spring 2023. The project added 800 square feet to the showroom and front offices, and about 4,000 square feet to the north side of the original shop.

"We finally decided to expand, offer more services and help everybody else so we needed a bigger building," Nathan said.

The business has grown to offer automotive and truck accessories, window tinting, golf carts, trailer sales and rhino linings. Jerry’s son, Branden Garrison, does paintless dent repair.

These expansions also include new services like windshield calibration, which is essential for keeping up with the latest automotive technology, driven by Nathan and his younger mindset.

"A lot of newer vehicles these days, some will drive themselves... a lot of people don't realize the camera is built into the windshield or it's mounted inside the windshield," Nathan said.

Several customers, including Ellis County Commissioner Neal Younger, praised Advantage Glass Plus for its reliability, outstanding service and long-standing commitment to the community.

"Whenever I needed anything, Jerry and Nathan were there. Thank you guys for being so supportive of Hays and all the things you do," Younger said.

Family members reflected on Advantage Glass's influence on their lives, with one of Jerry's grandchildren showing gratitude for the business as a foundation for her and other young relatives' personal growth.
