Sidne Sue "Susie" (Mog)&nbsp;
Seeman, 84, of Larned, KS, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Pawnee
Valley Community Hospital in Larned, KS.

Sue's life journey began
on November 17, 1939, in the most remarkable way. As her parents, William "Bill"
Mog and Nora Loree (King) Mog, attempted to make it to the hospital in
Goodland, Kansas, during a terrible snowstorm, they had to improvise, boarding
a school bus when the roads became impassable. Susie was born on the bus on the
way to the hospital. Two years later, her sister and best friend, Donna (Mog)
Hanken, was born, cementing a bond of love and shared memories for the family
of four.

Sue graduated from
Hudson High School, Hudson, Kansas, and decided to follow in both her parents'
footsteps to become a PE teacher. She enrolled at Fort Hays State College but
soon found her creative spirit drawn to the world of hairdressing. Sidne Sue earned
her cosmetology certificate in 1961 from Sidney's Hairdressing College, Inc.,
in Hutchinson, KS. In the beauty shop built by her father at their home in
Larned, Susie practiced her craft with her weekly standings.

Susie filled her younger
days with tennis, golf, and Bridge alongside her sister and parents. As she got
older, volleyball, softball, painting, woodworking, and poetry were added to
her list of activities. Sue discovered internet card games, and during her 60s,
up until her death, she played online Bridge with friends from the United
States and Canada.

Sue married Winston C.
Seeman on June 6, 1964. They were happy with the arrival of their first
daughter, Michelle Renee', though the 1965 Thunderbird they had special-ordered
was not to be—baby first! The family was complete when, two years later, Denise
Loree was born. As much as Susie loved her sports and activities, she loved her
daughters more. Sue encouraged her girls to be active in school and sports and
to have many friends. People of old will remember the old Ford Falcon station
wagon full of kids being transported to the movies or the pool. Susie and her
sister, Aunt Donnie, seemed inseparable while raising their children together.
Michelle, Denise, and cousins Missy and Rhonda enjoyed countless hours of fun
together while enduring many car rides with their mothers’ “singing”!

Sue and Winston later
divorced after 50 years of marriage.

Left to cherish her
memory are her daughters, Michelle (Dean) Dreiling and Denise (Steve) Staab;
granddaughters Abbey (Tom) Hammann, Madalyne Staab, Lauren (Evan) Murphy, and
Karlie Murphy; and great-grandchildren Avery and Bennett Hammann.

Interment of her ashes
will occur in the spring, her favorite time of year. She will join her loving
parents at the Larned Cemetery,&nbsp;Larned, Ks. A celebration of life will be
announced at a later time.

Hays Police officers took a man into custody on Friday in Hays after he threatened the officers with a knife.

Police were contacted by High Plains Mental Health Center staff at about 9 a.m. on Friday. The staff at High Plains said a 20-year-old man was in crisis and he had become physical with his father, Hays Police Chief Don Scheibler said.

Scheibler said the man left the building but returned and began banging on the door.

When officers arrived on the scene, staff told them the man had a knife, and he said he wanted to "commit suicide by cop," Scheibler said.

When the officers tried to approach the man, he pulled a knife on the officers, Scheibler said.

Initially, the man would not comply with the officers. The officers attempted to de-escalate the situation, according to Scheibler.

The man dropped the knife and ran from the scene, Scheibler said.

After a brief foot chase, the man was taken into custody.

He was arrested on charges of domestic battery, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and interference with a law enforcement officer.&nbsp;

The man was referred for a mental health evaluation and treatment.

The man's name was not released because of his mental health status.

Scheibler praised the officers for their actions to disarm the suspect peacefully.

"I am glad that it worked out OK, and I am grateful for the officer's professionalism," Scheibler said.

Hays police officers disarm man with knife 

The Fort Hays State women's basketball team moved up in both national polls again this week, with the Tigers now sitting in sixth in both the WBCA Coaches Poll and the D2CSC National Media Poll.

After a pair of 30-point conference victories last week, the Tigers moved up one spot from seventh in the coaches poll while FHSU jumped eight spots from T-14th in the media ranks.

Fort Hays State is now 9-0 to start the season, making the Tigers one of 12 remaining undefeated teams in Division II. FHSU's nine-game winning streak is the third-longest active streak in DII. This is the fourth-best start to a season in program history.

The Tigers racked up 429 points in the balloting process of the coaches poll, up from 408 points one week ago. FHSU shot up to 310 points in the media poll from 202 a week ago after rising from third to first in the media's regional ranks.

This is the eighth time that the Tigers have been ranked sixth in the coaches poll during the program's NCAA DII era and the first-such occurrence since February 22, 2022. Fort Hays State is 12-2 when ranked sixth according to the coaches, most recently defeating Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri State in the final two regular season games of the 2021-22 season.

Fort Hays State is the top-ranked MIAA program in both polls, with Pittsburg State joining the Tigers at No. 8 in the coaches poll and No. 10 in the media ranks.

The Tigers will resume their season next weekend (Dec. 19-20) when they travel to Hawaii for the Big Island Classic. FHSU will first play Truman State on Thursday (Dec. 19, 8 p.m./4 p.m. HT) before battling Quincy on Friday (Dec. 20, 10 p.m./6 p.m. HT).

🏀 FHSU women ranked 6th in both national polls

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Fort Hays State pole vaulter&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/mens-track-and-field/roster/jacob-clark/8482">Jacob Clark</a>&nbsp;has been named the first MIAA Men's Field Athlete of the Week of the 2024-25 season, announced Tuesday (Dec. 10) by the conference office.

Clark currently leads all Division II with his clearance of 17-2.75 at the Washburn Alumni Invitational on Saturday (Dec. 7). The senior is one of two competitors to surpass the 17-foot mark so far this season.

The Nottingham, England native clinched first place at the event in Topeka when he easily cleared the bar at 16-6.75 on his first attempt. He later soared over the bar at 16-10.75 on his second attempt before surpassing his national-leading bar on his second trip down the runway.

A five-time All-American, this the first MIAA weekly honor of Clark's career. He is the first competitor from the men's team to earn the award since&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/mens-track-and-field/roster/ethan-lang/7865">Ethan Lang</a>&nbsp;was named Track Athlete of the Week in January (1/30/24) and he is the first Tiger to win the field award since&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/mens-track-and-field/roster/ryan-stanley/7194">Ryan Stanley</a>&nbsp;last did so in April 2023 (4/18/23).

Clark and the rest of the track and field team will compete once more before winter break when they travel to Kearney, Neb. on Friday (Dec. 13) for the UNK Pre-Holiday Classic.&nbsp;&nbsp;

🏃‍♂️ FHSU's Clark named MIAA Field Athlete of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Fort Hays State Men's Soccer had a pair of student-athletes named to the D2CCA Men's Soccer All-America Team for the 2024 season.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/mens-soccer/roster/tadhg-walsh/7942">Tadhg Walsh</a>&nbsp;was a second-team selection as a midfielder, while&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/mens-soccer/roster/marcos-german/8347">Marcos German</a>&nbsp;was a third-team selection as a defender.

Walsh and German are the first All-America selections for FHSU Men's Soccer since the 2021 season when Taisei Arima and Alec Bevis earned All-America honors. Walsh and German give FHSU 13 different individuals who have garnered All-America honors in the program's 14-year history. For Walsh, it's his first All-America honor. German was a three-time All-America selection at the NAIA level before earning the distinction this year at the NCAA level.

Walsh is tied for the national lead in assists as of December 10 with 15, joining Frederic Benedix from Coker University. Walsh led the Tigers in points for the season with 25, adding five goals to go with his single-season FHSU record for assists. Walsh is a three-time all-conference performer, including first-team honors twice. He is a two-time D2CCA All-Region First Team selection. Walsh has 39 career points with 21 assists and nine goals.

German finished the year with 17 points for the Tigers, which ranked fourth on the team. He adds this All-America selection to D2CCA All-Central Region First Team and All-GAC First Team honors this year. All of his points were generated against conference opponents. He ranked second on the team in assists behind Walsh with nine.

Walsh and German helped Fort Hays State to its 10th NCAA Tournament appearance in the men's soccer program's young 14-year history in 2024. The Tigers finished the year 13-4-4 overall and advanced to the Round of 32 in the national tournament under first-year head coach&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/mens-soccer/roster/coaches/alex-nichols/1294">Alex Nichols</a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;

 </figure>FHSU AthleticsCOLUMBUS, Ohio - Fort Hays State Men's Soccer had a pair of student-athletes named to the D2CCA Men's Soccer All-America Team for the 2024 season.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/mens-soccer/roster/tadhg-walsh/7942">Tadhg Walsh</a>&nbsp;was a second-team selection as a midfielder, while&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/mens-soccer/roster/marcos-german/8347">Marcos German</a>&nbsp;was a third-team selection as a defender.Walsh and German are the first All-America selections for FHSU Men's Soccer since the 2021 season when Taisei Arima and Alec Bevis earned All-America honors. Walsh and German give FHSU 13 different individuals who have garnered All-America honors in the program's 14-year history. For Walsh, it's his first All-America honor. German was a three-time All-America selection at the NAIA level before earning the distinction this year at the NCAA level.Walsh is tied for the national lead in assists as of December 10 with 15, joining Frederic Benedix from Coker University. Walsh led the Tigers in points for the season with 25, adding five goals to go with his single-season FHSU record for assists. Walsh is a three-time all-conference performer, including first-team honors twice. He is a two-time D2CCA All-Region First Team selection. Walsh has 39 career points with 21 assists and nine goals.German finished the year with 17 points for the Tigers, which ranked fourth on the team. He adds this All-America selection to D2CCA All-Central Region First Team and All-GAC First Team honors this year. All of his points were generated against conference opponents. He ranked second on the team in assists behind Walsh with nine.Walsh and German helped Fort Hays State to its 10th NCAA Tournament appearance in the men's soccer program's young 14-year history in 2024. The Tigers finished the year 13-4-4 overall and advanced to the Round of 32 in the national tournament under first-year head coach&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/mens-soccer/roster/coaches/alex-nichols/1294">Alex Nichols</a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hays High's Ian McGuire and Dalton Meyers have been named to the Kansas Football Coaches Association 5A All-State football team and Tony Crough has been named 5A Coach of the Year.

McGuire played five positions on offense this past season and is listed as an athlete on the All-State team. He rushed for 890 yards on 163 carries with eight touchdowns. McGuire had five receptions for 271 yards and a touchdown. He moved to quarterback in the 5A sub-state and state title games and passed completed 6-of-14 passes for 81 yards, two touchdowns an one interception.

Meyers had 79 tackles and four sacks from his linebacker position along with 10 tackles for loss, three interceptions, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Crough adds the KFCA Coach of the Year honor to his Sports in Kansas 5A Coach of the Year honor he received over the weekend.

HHS defensive coordinator Kip Keeley was named 5A Assistant Coach of the Year.

A Grow Hays Year in Review luncheon last week highlighted the housing growth in Ellis County last year.

Doug Williams, executive director of Grow Hays, discussed some notable housing additions in the works and other economic indicators during the meeting with local leaders at Brief Space.

Williams said his predictions for housing for 2024 were off.

He estimated Ellis would have 20 single-family home starts, but there were 15. He estimated there would be more than 40 starts for multi-family housing units, but Ellis County had none.

In 2023, Ellis County had 29 single-family home starts, so housing development is down over the prior year.

Williams predicted single-family home prices would remain stable in 2024, depending on the price range. They increased.

Williams once thought a house in Ellis County selling for more than $500,000 would be very rare. However, numerous homes have now sold for more than $1 million.&nbsp;

He also predicted rents would remain stable or slightly rise. Rents have continued to rise, and the rental supply remains very tight, Williams said.

Williams highlighted multiple housing projects that are in the works.

All of the homes in phases one and two of Heart of America Tallgrass, 54 homes, are built and sold.

Six homes are under construction on Wheatland Drive and another six will be started soon.

The majority of the homes have been sold to first-time home buyers, and 16 more have been sold to families new to Hays.

"Once a family buys a home and puts down roots, they're more likely to stay," Williams said. "One of the things this housing development is doing is keeping people here."

Williams expected more Tallgrass buyers to be upsizing or downsizing, but few of the buyers fell into that category.

Thirty-six homes in phase one were limited to a $225,000 maximum sale price, and the next 18 to a $235,000 maximum sale price. Developers bought some homes, but the maximum sale price was only subject to the first sale.

Because the lots are larger, the sale prices for the homes on Wheatland Drive will be above the minimum in the first two phases.

Heart of America is working to develop phase four of the Tallgrass Addition, which includes 21 acres north of the existing development.

The city of Hays has agreed to bond the first three phases of the addition so that the developer can proceed to invest in the fourth phase.

<a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/70507513-a0c4-489b-86c5-f7edf0fdf753">The developer is in the process of rezoning and platting 101 lots in the fourth phase.</a>

A new&nbsp;Reinvestment Housing Incentive District (RHID) will be used for the fourth phase.&nbsp;If approved, the district will capture the incremental real property taxes, less the state's 1.5 mills and 20 mill school levy, for up to 25 years.

Williams credited Heart of America as well as the city in making Hays a leader in housing in the state.

Hays developer Michael Graham is planning to build 48 apartments on the site of the former railroad depot parking lot at 10th and Walnut in downtown Hays.

<a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/dc0fb523-b96d-42bb-b65a-55221db96969">The city has also approved an incentive district for that development.&nbsp;</a>

The district is expected to generate about $1.1 million of revenue during its maximum 25-year term. The revenue would reimburse the developer for an estimated $692,000 in RHID-eligible project costs on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Construction of the first 24 units in the development will begin this spring.&nbsp;

<a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/1cf1f167-3d2b-4a78-9fe7-240b64b595ae">The Hays USD 489 school board has also agreed to enter into a contract with Graham&nbsp;</a><a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/1cf1f167-3d2b-4a78-9fe7-240b64b595ae" target="_blank">to purchase Lincoln Elementary School.&nbsp;</a>The school will close as new elementary school space comes online&nbsp;as part of bond-funded projects.&nbsp;

Graham hopes to renovate the building into 26 to 28 one- and two-bedroom apartments. He also plans to build more housing on the land adjacent to the school.

<a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/e533b2e3-4579-4f87-a183-e605e9b45f54">DP Management is seeking a state grant to help finance development of&nbsp;a 136-unit apartment complex in Hays at&nbsp;at Wheatland Avenue and East 22nd Street.</a>

Forty-eight of the one, two and three-bedroom units would be market-rate housing, while 88 units would be low-income housing.

The city has submitted a letter of support for the grant, and the developer is waiting to see if it is approved.

Dan Hess has finished the construction of infrastructure for 12 lots in south Ellis on Maple. Developers have pulled eight permits to construct homes on those lots.

"We are excited to have activity in Ellis, which hasn't had activity in a long time," Williams said. "The school district enrollment shows they haven't had that activity."

Work is being done on the expansion of the Knight's Addition in Victoria.

"We have people who want to be over there, but we just don't have additional lots," Williams said.

<a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/52b97519-b934-46eb-bdf3-8bd246bf2675">Construction of the&nbsp;Bob and Pat Schmidt Community Center at the Grove. is underway and should be completed in 2025.</a>&nbsp;Multiple donors have been given to support the community center, but Williams said Grow Hays is short of the funding needed for the project. It is still seeking donations.

Work just started on the streets. Housing construction could begin as soon as this summer.

Grow Hays had planned 50 patio homes, eight duplexes and six plexes on the corner.

Grow Hays was able to purchase an additional single-family 2-acre lot that faces Canterbury.

Considering the number of multi-family units proposed in Hays, Grow Hays is now proposing a grouping of two-bedroom, two-bathroom, two-car garage villas for the additional property.

The homes would be about 1,100 square feet with a shared courtyard and be offered at a lower price point than the patio homes, Williams said.

<a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/086b27b6-fc06-490d-91ed-833bbf3e82cd">The MicroFactory, which was completed last March, is still empty.</a>

The MicroFactory, 3000 Ninth in Hays, is meant to be a space manufacturers can rent for a lower-than-market rate as they launch new businesses or product lines.

The $4.5 million, 30,000-square-foot facility was constructed with help from the Kansas Department of Commerce and was supposed to bring new jobs into Hays.

"We're disappointed we haven't got anyone in there yet," Williams said. "We've had a few people we have determined who would not be a good fit that had interest."

It is being marketed locally, regionally and nationally.

Williams compared the MicroFactory to the co-working Brief Space. He said it took awhile for people to understand and buy into the concept.

"This is a kind of co-working space for manufacturers," he said.

Williams said Hays is primarily a white-collar community and needs to grow its manufacturing base.

"I don't know when we say we gotta do something else?" he said. "At this point, we are committed to the people who put up the money for it, both the state and the Schmidt Foundation and Patterson Family Foundation, to try to fulfill the vision of what this facility can be."

"I'm still confident we can get it done. It's just been slow. We were hoping we would open the door, and we'd have all these people flocking in, and it hasn't quite worked like that," Williams said.

Williams said Hays has not done a good job of promoting retail over the last 20 to 25 years.

Retail matters in Hays because the city, Ellis County, and Hays USD 489 all use sales tax as a funding source.

"We are a retail trade center," Williams said. "People come here to shop. When they come here to shop, they eat lunch. They may stay here overnight. That contributes."

He said robust retail is also a quality-of-life issue.

The proposed development would be on 9.1 acres directly north of Home Depot. Grow Hays intends to develop a 60,000—to 70,000-square-foot shopping center.&nbsp;

Williams said retail development can be challenging because the rents don't match the construction or land costs. This project seeks to remedy some of those issues.

Williams said he hopes Grow Hays can start the retail development in 2025.

Rents have continued to rise, and the rental supply remains very tight, Williams said.Williams highlighted multiple housing projects that are in the works.<h2>Tallgrass Addition</h2>All of the homes in phases one and two of Heart of America Tallgrass, 54 homes, are built and sold.Six homes are under construction on Wheatland Drive and another six will be started soon.The majority of the homes have been sold to first-time home buyers, and 16 more have been sold to families new to Hays."Once a family buys a home and puts down roots, they're more likely to stay," Williams said. "One of the things this housing development is doing is keeping people here."Williams expected more Tallgrass buyers to be upsizing or downsizing, but few of the buyers fell into that category.Thirty-six homes in phase one were limited to a $225,000 maximum sale price, and the next 18 to a $235,000 maximum sale price. Developers bought some homes, but the maximum sale price was only subject to the first sale.Because the lots are larger, the sale prices for the homes on Wheatland Drive will be above the minimum in the first two phases.Heart of America is working to develop phase four of the Tallgrass Addition, which includes 21 acres north of the existing development.The city of Hays has agreed to bond the first three phases of the addition so that the developer can proceed to invest in the fourth phase.<a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/70507513-a0c4-489b-86c5-f7edf0fdf753">The developer is in the process of rezoning and platting 101 lots in the fourth phase.</a><figure>

The revenue would reimburse the developer for an estimated $692,000 in RHID-eligible project costs on a pay-as-you-go basis.Construction of the first 24 units in the development will begin this spring.&nbsp;<a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/1cf1f167-3d2b-4a78-9fe7-240b64b595ae">The Hays USD 489 school board has also agreed to enter into a contract with Graham&nbsp;</a><a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/1cf1f167-3d2b-4a78-9fe7-240b64b595ae" target="_blank">to purchase Lincoln Elementary School.&nbsp;</a>The school will close as new elementary school space comes online&nbsp;as part of bond-funded projects.&nbsp;Graham hopes to renovate the building into 26 to 28 one- and two-bedroom apartments. He also plans to build more housing on the land adjacent to the school.<figure>

"We've had a few people we have determined who would not be a good fit that had interest."It is being marketed locally, regionally and nationally.Williams compared the MicroFactory to the co-working Brief Space. He said it took awhile for people to understand and buy into the concept."This is a kind of co-working space for manufacturers," he said.Williams said Hays is primarily a white-collar community and needs to grow its manufacturing base."I don't know when we say we gotta do something else?" he said. "At this point, we are committed to the people who put up the money for it, both the state and the Schmidt Foundation and Patterson Family Foundation, to try to fulfill the vision of what this facility can be.""I'm still confident we can get it done. It's just been slow. We were hoping we would open the door, and we'd have all these people flocking in, and it hasn't quite worked like that," Williams said.<h2>Retail</h2>Williams said Hays has not done a good job of promoting retail over the last 20 to 25 years.Retail matters in Hays because the city, Ellis County, and Hays USD 489 all use sales tax as a funding source."We are a retail trade center," Williams said. "People come here to shop. When they come here to shop, they eat lunch. They may stay here overnight. That contributes."He said robust retail is also a quality-of-life issue.<figure>

This project seeks to remedy some of those issues.Williams said he hopes Grow Hays can start the retail development in 2025.

At about 11:55 p.m. on Saturday, the Hays Police Department was alerted to an injury accident at the intersection of 13th and Elm streets in Hays.

 Responding officers discovered two pedestrians had been struck by an eastbound vehicle on 13th Street while they were crossing southbound in the crosswalk, where they had the right of way.

The impact caused the pedestrians to be thrown about 40 feet.

Both individuals were taken to the hospital for medical attention.

The driver received a citation for failing to yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk, and alcohol was ruled out as a contributing factor in the accident.&nbsp;

A disturbance outside a Hays bar led to a man being stabbed multiple times. 

The investigation shows that man was stabbed in self-defense after he and another man attacked a 21-year-old man.

The man that was stabbed is expected to recover.

At 2:41 a.m. Sunday, the Hays Police Department received a report of a disturbance in the alley behind Chuck’s Bar, 507 W. Seventh St.

Officers responded to the scene and learned that a 31-year-old male had been stabbed multiple times during an altercation.

The initial investigation indicates that the man was stabbed in self-defense after he and a second man attacked a 21-year-old man. 

During the attack, the 21-year-old victim pulled a knife and stabbed one of the attackers.

The victim was then able to get away from his attackers.

The second attacker also physically attacked another man that had attempted to intervene in the altercation.

The first attacker that was stabbed was transported to the hospital and is expected to recover. 

The second attacker was arrested for aggravated battery and is being held in the Ellis County Jail.

The Fort Hays State Historic Site conducted Christmas Past at Historic Fort Hays on Friday and Saturday, giving a glimpse into what the Fort would have looked like during holidays in the 1870s.

Attendees were guided through the night with lanterns to enjoy apple cider and cookies while listening to carolers, riding wagons and meeting Father Christmas.

The Hays Arts Council also sponsored its annual Winter Art Walk. The Hays Public Library offered children's crafts. The anchor of the art show was the Five-State Art Photography Exhibit at the Hays Arts Center.

The weekend wrapped up with the Downtown Hays Development Corporation's FrostFest Parade. The parade's theme was Gnome for the Holidays.

HAYS, Kan. - The Fort Hays State men's wrestling team hosted nearly 300 student-athletes from 23 different schools at the 2024 FHSU Bob Smith Open on Sunday (Dec. 8). The Tigers sent 23 wrestlers to the mat, with those competitors racking up a total of 34 victories on the day.

In all, 18 different Tigers picked up at least one win, including 12 that came out on top multiple times.

<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/wrestling/roster/camden-padgett/8303">Camden Padgett</a>&nbsp;notched a team-high four wins in the 149-pound bracket, finishing the day with a 4-2 record. The redshirt-freshman rattled off four-consecutive victories in the consolation bracket, including one pin, one technical fall and two decisions.

<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/wrestling/roster/drew-bell/8290">Drew Bell</a>&nbsp;(149) and&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/wrestling/roster/ryan-patterson/8305">Ryan Patterson</a>&nbsp;(197) both finished the afternoon with three victories, with Bell accumulating one major decision and two decisions and Patterson reeling off one technical fall, one major decision and one decision.

Nine Tigers turned in two wins each, including a pair of first-period pins from&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/wrestling/roster/matthew-rodriguez/8306">Matthew Rodriguez</a>&nbsp;(184), two first-period pins from&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/wrestling/roster/jaxson-thomas/8308">Jaxson Thomas</a>&nbsp;(unattached 285) and a pair of second-period pins from&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/wrestling/roster/kaiden-hoffman/8313">Kaiden Hoffman</a>&nbsp;(unattached 141).
