NORTON — The Kansas Department of Transportation plans to close 3.5 miles of U.S. 281 for Osborne County for reconstruction starting Monday, March 17.
The closure will begin at the at the north U.S. 24 junction and end at the south city limits of Portis. Motorists are advised to use the signed detour on U.S. 24, K-181, U.S. 36 and U.S. 281 while the closure is in effect.
KDOT expects the road to reopen in late November, conditions permitting.
