Enhance your oil painting skills in this two-day workshop with experienced artist Laurie Albin. Laurie will cover the basics of oil painting, demonstrate key techniques, and guide students in color development. The workshop will take place at the Logan Youth Center, 402 W. Church, Logan, KS, on October 25th & 26th, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
Participants will use a landscape photo as a reference to create an original work of art. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced painter, you'll focus on value changes in landscapes and learn how to add dramatic flair to your work. Most importantly, you'll experience the joy of applying brush to canvas.
The registration fee is $120.00 for this two-day workshop, with discounts available for Sustaining and Patron Hansen Museum Members. Call the Museum to register or find the registration form on our website (hansenmuseum.org) under Classes & Workshops.
This workshop is part of the Hansen Museum Continuing Education Program, supported by the Hansen Foundation.
