There will be a celebration of life for artist Pete Felten at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at the Ellis County Historical Society, 100 W. Seventh, Hays.
The event will start with a public reception with Felten exhibits, displays and refreshments. There will be a tribute at 2 p.m., followed by an open house at the Stone Gallery and Studio.
Contributions to the Felten Legacy Fund are accepted through the Heartland Community Foundation. They will be used to turn Felten's gallery and studio into a museum.
