TOPEKA - "Voice of the Hays High Indians" Dustin Armbruster has been selected as the Kansas State High School Activities Association's 2022 Oscar Stauffer Award recipient and has been dubbed the KSHSAA Sportscaster of the Year.

This is the second time Armbruster has received the honor. He was awarded the Oscar Stauffer previously in 2013.

Armbruster has been with Eagle Radio in Hays since July of
2005. He currently is the operations manager, program director for KKQY, hosts
“The Bull Morning Show” on 101.9 FM, provides play-by-play for Hays High School
broadcasts and color commentary for Eagle’s broadcasts of Fort Hays State University
football and basketball. He also provides content for the sports section of
Hays Post and handles commercial production. Armbruster also pre­viously worked
in the sales department for a period of ten years.

Armbruster is the fifth Hays broadcaster to be awarded the Oscar Stauffer. Previous winners include Mike Hammett (2016, 2011), Gerard Wellbrock (2000, 1997, 1996), Wyatt Thompson (1989) and Bob Davis (1978, 1975).

FHSU defeated East Central 5-4 on Monday before falling 5-0 to Oklahoma Baptist in the second contest of the day. Fort Hays State 5, East Central 4 Fort Hays State scored first and never trailed, but had to hang on late in a one-run victory over East Central University.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6635">Regan Curry</a>&nbsp;put the Tigers on the board in the second inning when she drove home&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6339">Sara Breckbill</a>. However, East Central countered with a run in the bottom half of the inning to tie the game 1-1. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6339">Sara Breckbill</a>&nbsp;put the Tigers back on top, 2-1, in the third inning with a solo homer to left field. The Tigers added on in the fourth when a fielding mistake cost East Central three runs.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6346">Lindsey Kelly</a>&nbsp;hit a fly to left field that was misplayed by the fielder. Two runners were on base already and Kelly flew all the way around to score on a play that should have been the third out of the inning. The three-run scoring play proved to be the difference in the game. East Central hit a solo home run in the sixth to cut the FHSU lead to 5-2. East Central rallied late in the seventh inning, down to its last out when it scored two on a 2-RBI double by Kenzie Lasker. However, with the potentially tying run at third, Megan Lesko of East Central grounded out to end the game. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6351">Morgan Schmidt</a>&nbsp;picked up a complete-game win for FHSU. She allowed eight hits and walked three, but struck out seven for her first collegiate win. Taia Harris threw a complete game for East Central, allowing eight hits and two walks, while striking out 11. Oklahoma Baptist 5, Fort Hays State 0 Fort Hays State struggled to get anything going offensively against Oklahoma Baptist. The Tigers had just two hits, collected by&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6346">Lindsey Kelly</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6338">Loren Beggs</a>. Kayleigh Jones threw a complete game for the Bison, allowing three walks with the two hits and she struck out seven Tigers. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6353">Erika Flynn</a>&nbsp;started in the pitching circle for FHSU and allowed all five runs in 2.1 innings of work. Southern Arkansas 3, Fort Hays State 2 The Tigers had run-scoring opportunities in several innings, but were only able to make good on their opportunity in the fifth by scoring a pair of runs. Southern Arkansas had slowly built a 3-0 lead by that point. FHSU had runners at first and third in the seventh with one out, but could not find a way to get the tying run across the plate from third. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6346">Lindsey Kelly</a>&nbsp;had a strong effort at the plate, going 4-for-4 all on singles. The Tigers (1-11) got off to a good start offensively, collecting three hits in the first inning and five total through three frames before finishing the contest with two more hits over the final six innings. The Rangers (6-7-1) put together two big innings to complete the come-from-behind win. 🏀 No. 14 Houston edges Wichita State in double OT

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Kansas enters the final two weeks before the Big 12 Tournament in control of its own chances to earn at least a share of its 20th regular-season championship. There's still time to clean up the glitches that keep the sixth-ranked Jayhawks from winning some games decisively. Ochai Agbaji scored 23 points, David McCormack had 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Kansas withstood a second-half comeback from West Virginia for a 71-58 victory Saturday night.

The Jayhawks (22-4, 11-2) maintained their two-game lead in the Big 12 over No. 7 Baylor and No. 11 Texas Tech with five games remaining before the conference tournament. “We can see the finish line now,” coach Bill Self said. “The only reason we need help is if we don’t take care of business. So, I told our guys that right before we played and they took care of business.”

Kansas had a 49-32 rebounding advantage but committed 15 turnovers that allowed West Virginia to keep it close most of the way. 

“Sometimes we just have mental lapses and make bonehead mistakes, but when the game is on the line we have to make sure we lock in,” McCormack said. 

West Virginia (14-12, 3-10) has lost 10 of its last 11. The Mountaineers struggled through a 1-for-14 shooting stretch in the first half, missed numerous layups and short jumpers throughout the game and shot 28% (19 of 68) overall. 

“I was thinking about, instead of shooting a layup, just turn around, throw it back out and let a guy shoot a 3," West Virginia coach Bob Huggins said. "At the end of the day, that probably would be more fruitful for us than having guys continue to miss layups. 

“I've been doing this a long time. I've never seen anything like it.”

Gabe Osabuohien, West Virginia’s top defender, returned from a one-game benching after picked up three technical fouls in two previous games, including an ejection. Less than a minute after he entered Saturday, Osabuohien took a charge on Mitch Lightfoot. 

But the Mountaineers couldn’t do much to stop Agbaji, the Big 12’s leading scorer who had a 3-pointer and a layup during a 9-0 run that gave the Jayhawks a 42-30 lead with 17:11 remaining. 

Kansas followed that with a more than four-minute scoring drought. Sean McNeil hit two 3-pointers and Taz Sherman one during a 13-point West Virginia burst that cut the deficit to 44-43 with 12:39 left. But the Mountaineers never retook a lead they only held early in the game. 

“Just in timeouts, any huddles we had during the game, I just told the guys to keep their composure," Agbaji said. "They’re going to make their runs. It’s a game of runs. They’re obviously playing at home, they got the crowd. Just stay in it and keep playing our game.” 

McCormick made layups less than a minute apart, sank two free throws and Kansas pushed its lead back to 60-48 with 5:11 left.

West Virginia was limited to two field goals over the final eight minutes. McNeil led the Mountaineers with 18 points and Sherman, second in the Big 12 to Agbaji in scoring, added 16. 

Christian Braun added 10 points and he and Jalen Wilson had 11 rebounds for Kansas, which won in Morgantown for the fourth time in 10 tries under Self. 

Kansas: In late February, it’s all about staying healthy and gaining momentum toward tournament time, and Kansas has won three straight. But there are plenty of challenges left, including a trip to Baylor next Saturday. 

West Virginia: The week wasn’t a total loss for the Mountaineers, whose only representation at the NCAA Tournament could be Huggins. He was announced Friday among the finalists for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The class of 2022 will be announced at the Final Four on April 2 in New Orleans.

Huggins seems to think his team still has a chance to make the Big Dance. 

“There's still opportunity there," he said. "As long as there's an opportunity there and there's a chance to keep fighting, we're going to keep fighting.” 

Kansas: Hosts rival Kansas State on Tuesday. The Jayhawks won 78-75 on the road in their earlier meeting. 

West Virginia: Travels to TCU on Monday in a makeup of a Jan. 3 game that was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the Horned Frogs’ program. The Mountaineers will play three games in six days.

The Hoxie Indians qualified 10 wrestlers for next weeks 3-2-1A state wrestling tournament this week on their way to claiming the regional championship in Norton.

Hoxie finished with 202.5 points followed by Hill City, Phillipsburg, Smith Center and Plainville to round of the top five.

Of their 10 placers inside the top four the Indians had four individual champions.

Hill City finished second as a team. The Ringnecks and Plainville both qualified five wrestlers for state.&nbsp;

The Cardinals and Ellis each had two individual champions. Ellis qualified four wrestlers four state.&nbsp;

Russell had two finish in the top four and Stockton and Trego each had one.

The 3-2-1A state wrestling tournament is Feb. 25 &amp; 26 in Hays.

🤼 Hoxie wins 3-2-1A Norton regional

Harley Zimmerman and Gavin Meyers each claimed individual regional titles at the 5A Regional Tournament in Valley Center on Saturday. Each moved into the championship round by winning matches on Friday.

The top eight in each of the two regionals make the state tournament. By the end of Saturday, Hays had eight collecting that honor.

The Indians placed 7th as a team at 127 points. Goddard won the titles at 223 followed by Newton (181.5) and Maize (161.)

At 132 pounds Zimmerman moved to 38-2 on the season with a 2-1 decision over Keton Patterson of Maize. He pinned his first two opponents on Friday and made the championship with an 8-5 decision.

Gavin Meyers pinned his way through the regional. His first three matches lasted a total of 99 seconds. Meyers defeated Bronx Wood of Andover Central by fall at 3:24. Meyers is 33-0 on the year and is the only undefeated 5A wrestler headed to state.

Elijah McCullough (25-15) will compete at the state tournament with a 5th place finish at 106 pounds. He won his first match by fall then had to wrestle through the backside of the bracket following a second round loss. McCullough won his next two matches to earn a spot and ultimately landing in the 5th place match where he won 7-1.

Brayden Hines (18-10) of qualifies with a 6th place finish at 120. Hines received a bye in the first round then suffered a defeat in the second. Hines won his next matches by fall to guarantee a trip to state. He ended up in the 5th place match were he lost by fall.

In the 126 pound weight division Cyrus Vajnar (21-12) heads to state with a 7th place showing.&nbsp;Vajnar opened his tournament with a win and then loss to land on the backside of the bracket. He finished his tourney with a victory by pin in the 7th place match.

Aaron Weigel (26-11) will represent Hays at 152 pounds after finishing in 7th place. Weigel had to wrestle his way to state after losing an opening round decision 6-2. He had to win his next three matches to secure a spot in state. He did exactly that and eventually landed in the 7th place match where he won 7-4.

HAYS, Kan. - The Fort Hays State baseball team picked up a split in Saturday's doubleheader against Regis, falling in the opener 8-4 before rallying for an 8-2 win in the nightcap. The Tigers are now 1-10 overall entering Sunday's series finale, scheduled for noon at Larks Park, while the Rangers move to 5-7-1 this season. Game 1 - Regis 8, Fort Hays State 4 Tiger starter&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6310">Jake Campbell</a>&nbsp;worked around two hits in the first before giving up three runs on four hits in the second. Regis added a fourth run with a solo home run in the third before Campbell faced the minimum in the fourth. The Tigers went on a 6-0 burst to get the Mule lead back to two and then moments later used an 11-0 run to turn a six-point deficit into a five-point lead at 25-20. FHSU held onto the lead the remainder of the first half and took a 32-29 lead into the locker room.

🏀 Anderson's late 3 sends Oklahoma State past Kansas State in OT

The No. 9 ranked Tigers improved to 23-3 overall and 17-3 in the MIAA, while the Jennies moved to 17-10 overall and 13-7 in the MIAA. Fort Hays State entered the game ranked No. 1 in the first NCAA region rankings, released earlier this week, while Central Missouri held the No. 10 ranking in the region. The Tigers put together a strong first half effort, holding the Jennies to just 2-of-14 shooting in the first quarter to build a 16-7 lead, then increased that lead to 20, 39-19, by halftime. FHSU led by as many as 22 points in the first half.

Overall in the first half, the Tigers held the Jennies to just 26.9 percent from the floor (7-of-26). The Tigers countered at a 51.6 percent rate from the floor, including a 6-of-10 effort beyond the 3-point line.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6439">Whitney Randall</a>&nbsp;had the hot hand for FHSU in the first half, hitting 3-of-4 3-point field goal attempts, on her way to 13 points.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6437">Jaden Hobbs</a>&nbsp;added eight first-half points and was 2-of-3 beyond the arc at that point. The Jennies would not go away though, closing the third quarter on a 10-2 run to get the lead back down to 13 at 50-37 with one quarter to play.

The Jennies added on to that late third quarter run and pushed their overall run to 21-4 with 5:38 to go in the game. A Charley Bovaird 3-point field goal brought the Tiger lead down to eight and Olivia Nelson followed with a pair of layups to get it down to four.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6435">Cydney Bergmann</a>&nbsp;stopped the momentum by driving to the basket to get fouled, and she hit two big free throws to get the lead back to six. FHSU got a defensive stop and then&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6438">Olivia Hollenbeck</a>&nbsp;extended the lead to eight on a stick-back layup. From that point, the Tigers locked in defensively and forced the Jennies into turnovers on five straight trips down the floor. They also held the Jennies to just 36.5 percent for the game. Nelson led the scoring effort for UCM with 22, followed by Brooke Littrell with 14 and Nija Collier with 10. Collier finished with 11 rebounds for a double-double. Nelson and Littrell combined for 14 UCM's 21 turnovers. The Tigers turn their focus to another big game in Hays on Wednesday night when Missouri Western (20-5, 14-5 MIAA) comes to Hays. The Griffons are one of four 20-win teams in the MIAA and were ranked No. 6 in the first set of NCAA Central Region rankings. 🏀🔈 LISTEN - No. 9 Tiger women finish road trip Saturday at Central Missouri

HAYS -&nbsp;The TMP-Marian Monarchs come up short in the final non-league game of the regular season Friday night after Life Prep Academy 62-58.

The Fire opened the game with a 4-0 lead but the Monarchs stormed back to take a 14-6 lead. Dylar Werth scored seven points in the first period and Jace Wentling added four more as the Monarchs built a 14-9 lead after one quarter of action.

Down five Life Prep opened the second quarter on a 10-2 run to go up by three at 19-16.

The Monarchs briefly retook the lead at 21-19 before Life Prep outscored the Monarchs 11-2 to build a 30-23 lead.

TMP trailed by five at halftime and trailed by eight to open the third quarter before catching fire from three.

After making just two 3-pointers in the first half the Monarchs connected on six of them in the third quarter as they put together a 24-5 run to take a 45-40 lead. But Life Prep combined to make four 3-pointers in the period as TMP took a 51-48 lead into the fourth quarter.

The fourth quarter saw Life Prep double up TMP 14-7 on their way to the 62-58 win.

The 62 points was the most allowed since the second game of the season when they gave up 75 to Lawrence Free State.

TMP’s Gavin Unrein led four Monarchs in double-figures with 13 points. Bryce Seib finished with 12 points and Dylan Werth and Kenton Ginther each added 11 points.

The TMP boys and girls will close out the regular season Tuesday at Plainville.&nbsp;

Girls Garden City 36- #10 Hays 60

Hays scored a season high point total and matched their season low in turnovers as they cruise past Garden City 60-36. The game was tied twice in the first four minutes at two and seven. Hays led 10-9&nbsp; with 2:50 left in the first before going on a 13-0 run that last into the second quarter. The Buffaloes went scoreless for seven minutes.

Once the Indians took a double digit lead in the second quarter they never led by less than twelve rest of the night and had a 29-12 advantage at halftime.

The two teams traded baskets to open the second half before a 11-4 run by Hays gave the Indians their first twenty point lead. The lead continued to expand in the fourth quarter to thirty points which started a continuous clock for the remainder of the game.

Hays outscored Garden City in each of the four quarters, winning 60-36. Their previous season high in points had been 58 versus Dodge City.

Hays was led by Molly Martin's game high 14.&nbsp;Aleyia Ruder and Jillyan Sheldon scored 9 each. Carly Lang put up 8 points and 10 rebounds. Jersey Johnson, who was crowned queen during Indian Call between games, scored 7. Garden City was paced by Aileen Becerril with 12.

#10 Hays improves to 12-6 and 4-2 in conference play. Garden City falls to 3-16, 1-5.

Boys Garden City 37 - #3 Hays 56

Garden City hit their first shot of the game for a 3-0 lead after the opening possession. Hays responded with a 12-2 run and grabbed two nine point leads in the first quarter before settling for an 18-11 lead through the first eight minutes.

The Indians built a pair of double digit leads before Garden City pulled within six at 24-18. The Indians ended the quarter with a Jace Linenberger three point play and a Carson Kieffer three pointer for a 30-18 halftime lead.

The Indians' advantage never dipped below 13 in the second half. Hays did lead by 18 at 41-23 before Garden City made a short run of 7-2 but was never closer than 43-30 rest of the game.

Hays led by 15 entering the fourth quarter and quickly added their advantage with a 9-0 run. The Indians outscored Garden City in every quarter on their way to a 56-37 victory.

Jace Linenberger recorded his third straight double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Linenberger moved to 9th all-time in rebounds passing Bill Giles (1977) and has grabbed 427 boards. Carson Kieffer scored 15.

#3 Hays improves to 17-1 and is 6-0 in conference play. Garden City drops to 9-10, 2-4.

Fort Hays State track and field broke another school record and hit eight provisional marks on the final day of the indoor regular season Friday (Feb. 18). The Tigers had seven provisional qualifying marks at the Nebraska Tune-Up in Lincoln, Neb. while adding one more at the Loper Tune-Up in Kearney, Neb. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6538">Lyric Holman</a>&nbsp;broke one of her own records for the second week in a row, this time shattering her time in the 200m dash. The junior was the top finisher in a field of 25 athletes that included numerous DI athletes with a time of 24.38, nearly three-tenths faster than her previous best. She is now up to eighth on the NCAA DII performance chart this season. Holman also bested the provisional pace in the 60m dash, placing second in 7.58. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6511">Robbie Schmidt</a>&nbsp;beat the provisional mark in the 3,000m run for the first time this season, placing third out of 30 runners with a personal-best time of 8:20.25. He moved up one spot to now sit in second on the FHSU DII era performance list. The men's pole vault crew continued its strong season, with three individuals surpassing the provisional height to finish in the top half of the field.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6513">Ryan Stanley</a>&nbsp;was fourth after a top clearance of 16-3.5, with&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6485">Jacob Clark</a>&nbsp;also clearing the same height but placing fifth based on total misses.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6493">Mark Faber</a>&nbsp;was sixth after eclipsing the 15-9.75 bar on his first attempt. They were the top three DII finishers in the event. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6549">Mattie Rossi</a>&nbsp;topped the provisional pace in the 60m hurdles, crossing the line in 8.82 to place third behind only two DI runners. She also moved into third on the FHSU DII era performance list with a time of 1:37.07 in the 600m run, finishing second. In Kearney,&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6537">Alexandra Hart</a>&nbsp;moved to 10-0 all-time in the indoor high jump, winning with a top clearance of 5-7.75, another provisional mark for the second-year freshman. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6540">Gretchen Kuffel</a>&nbsp;was fourth in the mile after running a personal-best 5:06.14. Fort Hays State track and field broke another school record and hit eight provisional marks on the final day of the indoor regular season Friday (Feb. 18). The Tigers had seven provisional qualifying marks at the Nebraska Tune-Up in Lincoln, Neb. while adding one more at the Loper Tune-Up in Kearney, Neb. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6538">Lyric Holman</a>&nbsp;broke one of her own records for the second week in a row, this time shattering her time in the 200m dash. The junior was the top finisher in a field of 25 athletes that included numerous DI athletes with a time of 24.38, nearly three-tenths faster than her previous best. She is now up to eighth on the NCAA DII performance chart this season. Holman also bested the provisional pace in the 60m dash, placing second in 7.58. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6511">Robbie Schmidt</a>&nbsp;beat the provisional mark in the 3,000m run for the first time this season, placing third out of 30 runners with a personal-best time of 8:20.25. He moved up one spot to now sit in second on the FHSU DII era performance list. The men's pole vault crew continued its strong season, with three individuals surpassing the provisional height to finish in the top half of the field.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6513">Ryan Stanley</a>&nbsp;was fourth after a top clearance of 16-3.5, with&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6485">Jacob Clark</a>&nbsp;also clearing the same height but placing fifth based on total misses.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6493">Mark Faber</a>&nbsp;was sixth after eclipsing the 15-9.75 bar on his first attempt. They were the top three DII finishers in the event. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6549">Mattie Rossi</a>&nbsp;topped the provisional pace in the 60m hurdles, crossing the line in 8.82 to place third behind only two DI runners. She also moved into third on the FHSU DII era performance list with a time of 1:37.07 in the 600m run, finishing second. In Kearney,&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6537">Alexandra Hart</a>&nbsp;moved to 10-0 all-time in the indoor high jump, winning with a top clearance of 5-7.75, another provisional mark for the second-year freshman. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6540">Gretchen Kuffel</a>&nbsp;was fourth in the mile after running a personal-best 5:06.14. She solidified her spot in fourth on the FHSU DII list in the process. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6480">Hayden Albright</a>&nbsp;improved his personal-best time in the 200m dash, running in 21.99 to place sixth and stay in eighth on the FHSU DII list.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6484">Nolan Churchman</a>&nbsp;is now 10th on the FHSU list with a time of 21.99, placing sixth in Lincoln.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6498">Philip Landrum</a>&nbsp;had the top time in the race for the Tigers, finishing fourth in 21.79. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6507">Jack Pakkebier</a>&nbsp;was sixth in the 400m dash with a personal-best time of 49.99, moving into seventh on the FHSU DII era top 10 list. He finished just behind Churchman who was fifth in 49.78. <a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6481">Grant Bradley</a>&nbsp;shaved more than two-tenths of one second off his PR in the mile, finishing sixth with a time of 4:13.10. He is still eighth on the FHSU DII chart. 🏃‍♀️ Holman breaks 200m record, Tigers grab eight provisionals on final day of regular season

HAYS, Kan. - The Fort Hays State baseball team outhit Regis Friday afternoon, 14-13, but four home runs and a late rally helped the Rangers steal the first of a four-game set at Larks Park (Feb. 18). Regis jumped in front with a two-out solo shot in the top of the first before starter&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6324">Hunter Parker</a>&nbsp;retired the next six batters in order. The Rangers added three runs on two more long balls in the third inning before the Tiger offense struck back. After collecting single hits in the first two innings, FHSU got things rolling in the third after a one-out double to center from&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6308">Griffin Brunson</a>.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6620">Jenner Kehe</a>&nbsp;followed with a line-drive single right back up the middle, plating Brunson and helping the Tigers close within 4-1. Parker settled in to face the minimum over the next three innings, retiring eight-straight batters after&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6621">Mikey Felton</a>&nbsp;and Kehe connected to catch a runner stealing in the top of the fourth.
