The TMP-Marian Monarchs look for their second-straight 3-0 start Friday night when they host the Plainville Cardinals for Homecoming in a Mid-Continent League showdown.

The Monarchs are coming off a pair of convincing wins, including a dominant win over the Ellis Railroaders.
Plainville is still looking for their first win of the season after coming up short last week against Russell.
TMP has won three straight games against Plainville and leads the all-time series 8-7 with the first meeting dating all the way back to 1926.
