This August, Developmental Services of Northwest Kansas (DSNWK) is inviting the community to a free educational event focused on future planning. The “Make-A-Will Event” will take place on Aug. 6, at The Venue, 2704 Vine in Hays.

Planning for the future is a priority for every family, but knowing where to start can be a challenge. This event brings together legal and health professionals to help answer common questions about estate planning, special needs trusts, and long-term care.

“Our goal is to provide a helpful resource for our families and the public,” said Adam Kober, major gifts & planned giving officer at DSNWK. “This event is a chance to hear directly from professionals about the steps any adult can take to protect their loved ones and their legacy.”

The event will feature several local subject matter experts.
