The Fourth-Annual Child Care Provider Appreciation sponsored by Nex-Tech Wireless is quickly approaching on June 17 at 6 p.m. at Rose Garden Banquet Hall & Catering.
As child care professionals are the backbone of a thriving workforce, this annual event focuses on elevating local child care professionals and acknowledging their dedication and service to families and our youth. During the event, providers are treated to a delicious meal and dessert and receive a swag bag full of goodies contributed by sponsors. At the conclusion of the event, prizes are awarded to many of the attendees.
The Chamber in Hays is seeking sponsorships to support this event and area providers.
Sponsorships range from $100 to $500 with opportunities for businesses to connect with child care professionals during the event for an investment of $250 or more. The sponsorship deadline is Monday, June 2.
Other ways businesses can show their support is by providing giveaways to be shared with providers the night of the event.
“The first 100 attendees will receive a swag bag full of goodies from our generous sponsors,” said Sarah Wasinger, President/CEO of the Chamber in Hays.
“They will also receive first aid kits, crisis bags, and emergency procedure flip charts that will help them respond quickly in the event of a variety of crisis situations. The Child Care Task Force of Ellis County has been working diligently to procure these items in time for the event. However, we would not be able to provide these items without the generosity of Child Care Aware of Kansas for their support through grant funding,” Wasinger said.
