The Department of Water Resources has announced a water main break near the intersection of 15th and General Custer.

Workers responded to the leak shortly be 7 a.m.

There were two water main leaks in Hays Thursday.

A small leak occurred near 38th and Fairway about 8:30 p.m.&nbsp;

A large waterline break happened about noon near 27th and Walnut while a contractor was doing work in the area. 

All water customers north of 27th Street were affected during the repair and the street was closed .
