WICHITA – The defending champions, Hays Larks, begin play at the National Baseball Congress World Series on Thursday at Eck Stadium in Wichita.
The Larks, who claimed their first ever NBC World Series title last season, will take on the Seattle Blackfins Thursday night, July 24th, in the first game of the tournament.
Hays is in pool A, alongside the Blackfins, the Oklahoma MVP and the Lonestar Kraken.
The Larks earned the automatic bid back to the World Series as the defending champions and clinched their fifth Rocky Mountain Baseball League title.
Hays will take on Oklahoma MVP at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 26th and the Lonestar Kraken at 8:30 p.m. on Monday, July 28th.
