Upcoming beginner-friendly painting class at Hansen Museum

LOGAN — The Hansen Museum Continuing Education Program is pleased to welcome certified Bob Ross instructor Hope Blakely of Arvada, Colorado to teach two Magic of Painting classes on April 26 and 27.

On Saturday, April 26, the class will paint a Kevin Hill-inspired painting “Out in the Valley,” and on Sunday, April 27 the class will paint the Bob Ross-inspired “Night Ocean.”

Classes are held in the Hansen Museum Community Room, 110 W. Main Street, Logan, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with an hour-long lunch break each day.

This class offers a fun and easy approach to creating a beautiful painting. Beginner friendly, participants will be guided step-by-step to complete a painting each day. All supplies are provided, and no previous experience is necessary.

Students need only bring a roll of paper towels. Young and old alike (13 and older) will enjoy the camaraderie of these classes.
