ELLIS —&nbsp;The Ellis Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying individuals suspected of allegedly committing criminal damage to multiple properties Wednesday night. 

According to a social media post by Chief Avery Smith, the alleged suspects are a group of juveniles who were riding around Ellis on electric scooters or bicycles between the hours of 8 p.m. and midnight on Aug. 5.

Residents are asked to check their home surveillance cameras for related activity and contact the police department at 785- 625-1011. Anonymous tips may also be submitted on the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=ellis%20police%20department">Ellis Police Department’s Facebook page</a>.
