The Hays High Indians host the Valley Center in 5A week nine bracket game with the winner advancing to the regional round of the playoffs.
The Indians enter the week at 6-2 and earned the seven-seed in the west region.
Valley Center is 5-3 and with 10-seed in the west.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Lewis Field in Hays. Live coverage includes The Hays High Sports Network and radio.
This is the 5th all-time meeting between Hays and Valley Center and third of which that is an elimination game. The Hornets lead the series 3 games to 1 with the Indians only win coming last year in week 10 28-6. Prior to that Valley Center had won the first three games…a playoff 28-7 contest in 1995 and then two regular season victories in 2016 and 2017.
