Sherman Co. foundation awards grant to Smoky Hills PBS

BUNKER HILL – The Sherman County Community Foundation has awarded Smoky Hills PBS with a grant for $1,500 to support the Smoky Hills PBS’ literacy initiative program in Sherman County. 

The grant will support the following:  

·      Children’s Programming on Smoky Hills PBS

·      Book distribution program that will provide books to children in head start and early head start programs in Sherman County.

“The Sherman County Community Foundation has been a longtime supporter of Smoky Hills PBS,” said Haley Gagnon, Smoky Hills PBS Special Events Coordinator. “It’s through the support of our communities and foundations like SCCF that Smoky Hills PBS is able to provide our youngest viewers with the resources they need to engage in a lifelong love of learning!”
