NAMI Golden Plains, NAMI On Campus at Fort Hays State University, and the FHSU Psychology Club are coming together and sponsoring a walking event to spread mental health awareness.

Anyone is welcome to attend the event, which is taking place on Wednesday, October 4 at 5 p.m. The walk will begin at Frontier Park. 

However, members of NAMI Golden Plains, NAMI On Campus at FHSU, and FHSU Psychology Club will be chalking the walking trail along the dike near Frontier Park with uplifting messages at 3:30 pm, prior to the walk. Anyone is welcome to join that as well!

 There will be water and snacks provided at the event as well as a free will donation to help support the organizations.&nbsp;
