Mason’s Mourning Light Foundation
Mason’s Mourning Light Foundation will host its Gatsby Gala Night on Friday, Nov. 13, from 6 to 11 p.m. at The Strand, 1102 Main Street in downtown Hays.
The evening will bring a touch of the Roaring ’20s to Hays while raising support for local families experiencing infertility or the loss of a pregnancy or infant. Mason’s Mourning Light is a Hays-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving families from conception through infancy.
Guests are encouraged to dress in their finest 1920s-inspired attire and enjoy a social, cocktail-style evening featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, music, a silent auction, a Best Dressed Contest and Gatsby-inspired fun.
Rather than a traditional seated gala dinner, the evening is designed for guests to mingle, visit and enjoy the event throughout the venue. Cocktail tables and seating will be available, with full tables also available for groups who would like to attend together.
Tickets are $50 for an individual, $95 for a couple or $375 for a table of eight, plus Eventbrite fees.
Funds raised through Gatsby Gala Night will help Mason’s Mourning Light continue providing support and resources to families navigating infertility, pregnancy loss and infant loss. The Foundation’s services include comfort packages, bereavement support, father-to-father support and memorial items.
The event is for guests 18 and older, with doors opening at 6 p.m.
