This month’s presentation, entitled “Perhaps a Corpse Would Be Re-animated: The Science Behind Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein,” is sponsored by Fort Hays State University's Science and Mathematics Education Institute will begin at 7 p.m. at The Venue in Thirsty’s Brew Pub & Grill, 2704 Vine.
Dr. Kim Perez, associate professor of history in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, will discuss how Enlightenment culture and science influenced Shelly’s famous work.
