WICHITA – The Hays Larks have earned an at-large bid into the NBC World Series which gets underway later this week in Hutchinson.
The Larks will open with the Austin Shockers at 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon at Hobart-Detter Field in Hutchinson.
The first three days of the 88th NBC World Series will be played in Hutchinson at Hobart-Detter Field.
The final week of the tournament, Aug. 1 – Aug. 6 will be played at Eck Stadium in Wichita.
The Larks are in pool C with the Austin Shocker (TX), Lonestar Kraken (TX) and the Seattle Studs (WA).
After Thursday’s first pool play game the Larks are scheduled to play again Saturday and Monday. The times and matchups will be announced later this week.
