"Let Freedom Ring” is the theme for the Hays After 5 Christian women’s meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, July 13, at the Rose Garden Banquet Hall, 2250 E. Eighth St.
Tim Schumacher of Hays will be performing patriotic songs on his guitar.
Also on the program will be Louise Simmons, Broken Arrow, Okla., who will speak about her own “Search for Freedom.” A native Dutch Indonesian, Simmons fled her war-troubled country, came to the U.S. and became an American citizen.
