Beginning Thursday, 27th Street will be closed at Canal for storm sewer work in preparation of the 27th Street reconstruction project in Hays. Westbound 27th Street will be detoured north on Canal to 29th Street, then west to Hall. Eastbound 27th Street will be detoured south on Canal Blvd to 24th Street, then east to Walnut. 

This work will last approximately one week. 

On or about April 1, construction will begin at the intersection of 27th and Hall.
