As construction progresses on the reconstruction of 27th Street from Hall to Fort in Hays, the construction zone will advance eastward.
On Tuesday, 27th Street will be opened from the Hall Street intersection to the entrance into Dillons and closed through the intersection of Canal Blvd. to just west of Elm Street.
As such, 27th Street traffic will be detoured using Elm Street and 29th Street or Walnut and 17th Street. Those two detour options are shown on the above map in blue and yellow respectively.
The reconstruction of 27th Street from Hall to Fort will progress steadily from west to east through the remainder of the year.
