The deadline for the inagural Hays High Athletic Hall of Fame banquet is this Friday, July 29th.
Doors open at 6:00 with dinner served at 6:15.
Tickets are available online at http://uctria.com/auction/HHSATHLETICHALLOFFAME or purchase your tickets at the Brian Ruder Agency, located at the corner of 27th and Indian Trail in Hays.
The tickets are $40 and include a meal, dessert, and tea or water. A cash bar will be available.
The first class inducted includes:
- 1944 state champion boys basketball team
- 1953 football team (8-0-1)
- 1954 football team (9-0, #4 in final poll, no playoffs a that time)
- 1989 girls track state championship team
