STOCKTON — The Rooks County Free Fair board convened Tuesday evening to discuss the fate of the 2020 fair.
This difficult decision was not taken lightly.
The board weighed the circumstances of safety, cancellation of event partners, manpower to operate, and the increase in area COVID-19 cases.
The board voted 15-6 to hold a 4-H Fair with ALL 4-H to be judged, along with a Livestock Auction.
All other events and vendors are cancelled.
The Rooks County Free Fair has a rich history of being one of the best county fairs in the state. We wish to continue this tradition as we move forward and look to the future of the 142nd fair.
Stay tuned for updates about the 4-H Fair and Livestock Auction.
The board of directors encourages you to support our area 4-Her’s and thank you for your continued support and understanding.
