The TMP-Marian Monarchs returns home Friday afternoon for a battle of ranked teams as they host the Abilene Cowboys.
TMP has won four straight, after sweeping Goodland last Thursday. The Monarchs are ranked No. 5 this week in class 2-1A.
The host an Abilene team that has won eight straight and coming off a sweep of the top ranked team in 4A Clay Center.
The Cowboys are ranked 4th in 4A at 11-1.
TMP is 10-2.
First pitch of the first game of the doubleheader is set for 4 p.m. with the second game to follow from TMP Field on the Monarchs Sports Network.
