Come and help us celebrate Becky Kiser's retirement.
This is a come-and-go event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Eagle Media Center, 2300 Hall.
Kiser has been an Eagle employee-owner since 2005, officially retiring this September to end a successful 19-year career.
She's been a consistent asset to Eagle as the Hays Post news director and a part of the Hays community before her start with Eagle.
She was professor at Fort Hays State University, been an anchor on local television with KAYS-TV, KBSH,and ECTV.
You can hear her on all Hays Eagle Radio stations as she does the local news.
You can find her Thursday nights covering city commission meetings.
She is currently on the United Way board and a member of Women Who Lead to name a few.
Becky has won numerous awards over the years, the most recent are as follows: 2024 KAB honorable for multimedia reporting; 2023 KAB first place for multimedia reporting, second place for complete newscast and honorable mention for a special program; 2022 KPA first place for best story originating from a public notice, and 2022 KAB honorable mention for complete newscast.
She has done so much more throughout her career.
