The TMP-Marian Monarchs return home Friday night for a key MCL and 2A district showdown against the Phillipsburg Panthers.
The Monarchs are looking to bounce back from their second straight loss and are 3-2, 3-1 in the MCL 0-1 in 2A district eight play.
Phillipsburg also enters the contest losers of two straight and are 2-3 overall, 2-2 MCL and 0-2 in 2A district 8.

Friday’s meeting is the 30th all-time meeting between TMP and Phillipsburg with the Monarchs leading the series 15-14 but Phillipsburg has won 12 straight.
