PLAINVILLE – The chance for winter weather this weekend has forced Mid-Continent League officials to alter this week’s basketball tournament in Plainville.
Friday’s semifinal games will now be played at 1 p.m. at both the Plainville Cardinal Gym and the Plainville High School Gym.
The No. 1 seed Hoxie will take on No. 5 seed TMP in the Cardinal Gym while the No. 2 seed Oakley takes on the No. 6 seed Trego.
Following those games, the boys' semifinals will begin at approximately 2:30 p.m.
The top seed, Trego, will take on the No. 4 seed, Plainville, in the Cardinal Gym. The No. 2 seed Phillipsburg will take on the three-seed TMP.
All of the consolation games have been cancelled.
The third-place games have also been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24th to Saturday, Jan. 31 at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. in Plainville.
