At the end of the second day of the workshop, there will be a public open house on Friday, June 3, from 4-6pm. The Western Plains Painters, formerly known as the Palco Art Club, has a mission to support, inspire and enhance the skills of artistic painters. They encourage continued growth of painters by providing painting venues, mentorship, quality art instruction, inspirational workshops and other creative events and activities. The club has been in existence for well over 40 years, helping oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor painters grow in their skills. Over those years, they have painted together, helped critique, mentor and inspire each other, hosted workshops, and individually grown as fine artists.
