For the first time this season, the TMP-Marian Monarchs are home. They play their first action in more than 20 days, after the Christmas break, on Thursday when they host the Ellis Railroaders.
The TMP girls are 2-4 and 1-1 in the MCL and haven't played since a loss to state ranked Central Plains on Dec. 20.
Ellis has won two straight and is 5-3 and 2-1 in the MCL.
In the boys contest Ellis is coming off a win over La Crosse and are 4-4 while TMP is just 1-5 after starting the year 0-4.
The girls' game will tip off at 6 p.m. from Hays, and the boys will follow on the Monarchs Sports Network.
