TOPEKA — The Kansas Water Office’s&nbsp; Smoky Hill-Saline Regional Advisory Committee will have a meeting to discuss current water issues affecting the region as well as the state.

The meeting will be Monday, October 2 at 9:00 a.m. at 210 N. Kansas Ave., Ellsworth.

The agenda includes new member introductions, a discussion of the Hays R-9 transfer and regional event sharing.

As the state’s water office, KWO conducts water planning, policy coordination and water marketing as well as facilitates public input throughout the state.
