With fertilizer prices continuing to be a significant input cost and the availability issues, it is increasingly important for agriculture producers to properly manage their inputs.
To address the topic of nutrient management, K-State Research and Extension, has scheduled four regional programs.
January 11 β Ellsworth β 9 a.m. to NOON β National Guard Armory
January 11 β Rush Center β 3 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. β Walnut Valley Senior Center, 220 Washington Street.
January 12 β Goodland β 9 a.m. to NOON β Sherman Co. 4-H Building
January 12 β Hoxie β 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - 4-H Building at the Sheridan Co. Fairgrounds
Topics will include: Storage methods; Maximum rate of return for N; βGrowing N with manure or cover crops; Application timing methods; KSU Research updates along with a question and answer session. So be sure and bring all your questions with you!
CCA credits have been approved for 4 CEUβs.
