Healing Hearts Grief Support Group

Anniston Weber with Options Domestic and Sexual Violence Services will speak to the Healing Hearts Grief Support Group on Thursday, Aug. 20.

The group will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Schmidt Community Center, 2510 Canterbury Drive. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. Attendees are asked to use the south door.&nbsp;

Weber will discuss recognizing the signs of domestic violence, how a person can be helpful to victims, situations involving older victims, and resources available.

The community is invited. The group’s facilitator is Dr. Kate McGonigal, associate professor of Sociology at Fort Hays State University.
