How would you improve Ellis County if you had $2,000 - $5,000 to do so?
Imagine Ellis County, an organization focused on bringing effective change to Ellis County, will be hosting its first Think-Tank Throwdown on April 3, 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at BriefSpace, 219 W. 10th, in downtown Hays.
Think-Tank is an event centered around the opportunity for all Ellis County residents to present their ideas to a board of judges for the chance to see their idea come to life.
How does it work? Come up with an idea of how Ellis County could be improved!
Illustrate your idea with either a paper document or planned presentation along with a proposed budget of how much it will cost to execute. Fill out an online or paper application (available at BriefSpace) by the entry deadline of March 21.

There then will be a round of preliminary judging to decide the top 10 presentations to move forward to the official event day. All finalists will be invited to the official Think-Tank Throwdown held at BriefSpace on on April 3, 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. which will decide who wins Imagine Ellis County’s first ever Think-Tank Throwdown!
The winner(s) will then get a contract with Imagine Ellis County to execute their idea with all costs being covered by our event sponsors.
Think-Tank will include free refreshments, a 30-minute networking time, along with the final awards ceremony for our finalists.
