🏈 Former HHS standout Kanak selected by Tennessee in 7th round of NFL Draft

PITTSBURGH - Former Hays High standout Jaren Kanak was drafted in the seventh round of Saturday's NFL Draft. Kanak was the 225th overall pick and selected by the Tennessee Titans.

Kanak played collegiately at Oklahoma where he played 39 games on defense and special teams in his first three seasons before switching to tight end prior to his senior season and caught 44 passes for 533 yards in 2025.

Kanak was a four-star recruit and rated as the 125th overall prospect out of Hays High school where he rushed for 1,615 yards and 23 touchdowns and passed for another 910 yards and threw 12 touchdown passes his senior year.

Kanak ran a a 4.52 in the 40 at the NFL Combine in March.
