Thunder on the Plains Car Show participant barbecue will happen on Friday rain or shine. The event is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. at Municipal Park on south Main Street.
In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the Hays Armory next door, which is at 200 Main St.
If there is inclement weather, keep your classic vehicle in the garage, but come on down.
The car show will be on Saturday. Registration Saturday morning begins at 8 a.m. and continues through 11 a.m. The awards ceremony will be at 2 p.m.
