Members of the Hays Volga German Society, organizers of Oktoberfest Hays, are looking for vendors for the two-day event. The Annual Volga German Oktoberfest will take place Friday, Oct. 2, and Saturday, Oct. 3, in Municipal Park.
The raising of steins and wearing lederhosen will be part of the 2020 Oktoberfest Hays. The free admission event will feature two days packed with many German traditions, from food and drinks, to music, contests, dancing and more.
Registration is open for vendors to become an integral part of a long-standing Hays tradition. Oktoberfest Hays consistently attracts thousands of visitors and residents who attend every year. Oktoberfest provides the opportunity to expose businesses to a diverse demographic, due in part to the multitude of activities offered for every age and family size.
Businesses, artists, community groups and crafts vendors are invited to register for booth spaces. Vendors contribute to the Oktoberfest spirit and tradition by showcasing German-style crafts, activities, or foods into their vendor space.

The mission of the Hays Oktoberfest is to celebrate the rich German heritage of Ellis County while generating scholarship money for students of Volga German descent and fundraising for preservation of Volga German churches in Ellis and Rush Counties.
