ELLIS — Because of the recent strain on the economy during the COVID-19 pandemic, help is needed to stock the Ellis Food Pantry.&nbsp; You can help by donating nonperishable food items.&nbsp; 

From 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, please drive by and place donations in the STOCK TANK to be located at the corner of 12th and Main/Washington Street near the Ellis United Methodist Church.&nbsp; 

Items you might want to bring include cans of meat, vegetables, fruit, and soup as well as pasta, boxed dinners, peanut butter and jelly.&nbsp; If you would prefer to make a monetary donation, please mail or deliver it to the Ellis Alliance Office, 820 Washington, Ellis.&nbsp;&nbsp;
