Midland Marketing donates equipment to rural fire departments

Midland Marketing is proud to give back to the communities where we live and that we are a part of. One of the organizations that we help to fund projects and special equipment for is the rural fire departments. They are a vital part of our communities and we are fortunate to be able to work with them on many things. Midland Marketing employs many fire department members throughout the trade territory.

This year, Midland Marketing had some funding available to purchase new SCBA equipment for three of our rural departments.

Damar, McCracken and Plainville Rural fire departments received The SCBA equipment along with new gloves to protect them from the dangers they incur when on the fires. Fire Fighters use the SCBAs to provide them with breathable air when they are in a dangerous situation such as fighting a structure fire, vehicle fire, or responding to a hazardous material call. This allows them to work more effectively in tough conditions.

The SCBAs are a vital piece of equipment for the health and safety of our rural departments. We are proud to be able to give back to our communities and thankful that we have volunteers that are willing to protect them.
