Due to the COVID-19 closures and the uncertainty as to when we may be able to restart Hays Recreation Commission programs we postponed the printing and mailing of the Spring & Summer Hays Rec Times scheduled to be delivered April 3, and the start of registration.
This is not how we wanted to start this spring and summer season, but feel that until we have a date in which we can safely resume operations, it is better to not take registrations and then have to issue more credits and refunds, if we can’t start on the given dates.
We do hope that there will be some kind of summer season, what that season will look like all depends on how things progress. So keep checking back for updates.
Our staff has been busy posting videos and posts to keep connected to our HRC family.
And if you are looking for a summer job we are still taking applications for Hays Aquatic Park because once given the all-clear, it is full speed ahead to UNPLUG AND PLAY!
