Ellis High School
On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Ellis High School inducted nine juniors and fifteen seniors into the local chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS).
The requirements for NHS membership include maintaining a grade point average of at least 3.5, demonstrating leadership in seven organizations within the school or community, completing 40 hours of community service, and receiving a positive character evaluation from teachers.
The following students were inducted into the National Honor Society:
SENIORS: Owen Richards, son of Brady and Jamie Richards; Jaren Frickey, son of Brian and Michelle Frickey; Ethan Carroll, son of Matt and Nicole Carroll; Kia Mader, daughter of Michael and Mindi Mader; Payten Burd, daughter of Shaun and Emily Burd; Kinzie Sunley, granddaughter of Allen and Kim Weber; Eliana Brull, daughter of Steven and Sheresa Brull; Leah Reed, daughter of Darin and April Reed; Avery Boydston, daughter of Monte and Deidre Boydston; Sienna Schmidt, daughter of Dick and Shannon Schmidt; Ashlyn Kroeger, daughter of Matt and Rachael Kroeger; Raegan Jimenez, daughter of Javi and Jessica Jimenez; Carson Schartz, son of Jake and Jennifer Schartz; Mason Rohleder, son of Logan and Ashley Kauten; and Augustus Peine, son of Derek and Sarah Peine.
