🏀 Hays High girls state basketball history

As the Hays High girls prepare for their first State Basketball appearance since 1996, let's take a look back at their prior trips.

This is the ninth time the Indians have qualified for state. They have won their first round game twice in the previous eight chances. Hays was runner up in 1995 and finished third in 1987.

In four of the Indians six first round exits, their opponent went on to win the state championship. Another team that beat Hays in the opening round finished runner-up.
