Free coyote trapping, predator calling program Oct. 18 in Hays

On Wednesday, October 18 Cottonwood Extension District will be hosting a free Coyote Trapping and Predator Calling program by Wildlife Specialist Drew Ricketts starting at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting will be held at Hays Agricultural Research Center auditorium, 1232 240th Avenue.  

During his program, Ricketts will discuss coyote biology, helping people to better understand their movements, vocalizations, and diet among other topics. He will also discuss tips and methods on trapping and calling coyotes including the proper use of mouth and electronic calls.
