The Ellis County Landfill is announcing a change to the Saturday hours of operation at the Ellis County Landfill.
Effective October 1st, 2026, the Saturday hours of operation at the landfill will change to 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays ONLY. There will be no dumping allowed after 2:45 p.m..
We are also announcing new winter hours.
Effective yearly from November 1 through the last Saturday in February, the Saturday hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays ONLY. There will be no dumping allowed after 11:45 a.m.
Regular Monday through Friday business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. will apply throughout the year. There is no dumping allowed after 4:45 p.m.
